Okay, I changed it to #2 for now :x It's just so time consuming to find good seasonal pictures for a specific character.

The old ones weren't really any better. Every gen has good and bad designs, and the ratio hasn't really changed since the start. :I

It'd be even better now, with online allowing for even more people to get in contact; you could have so many there'd be secret bases on every route! :O

Agreed. I kinda think there is too much emphasis on raising the number of pokemon each installment by such a large number. The designs were original and creative in the beginning, now they look more like childs drawings.

I agree that to some degree, emphasis was heavily put into expanding the list of pokemon, rather than fine tuning or innovating new gameplay mechanics into it. To the point where some new pokemon are downright abstract. But alas, it would be difficult to successfully pan out a franchise into multiple generations and game SKUs with just touch-ups and minor improvements alone.

Guess that one was under my radar since I never owned a gamecube. Sadly most GC games are out of print, so my odds of obtaining a copy of that are slim to none.
But I was essentially ranting saying if they wanted, they could significantly, to a downright thematic level, expand pokemon to a demograph and platform outside dinky handhelds and the niche familiarity and comfort zone so to speak.
Jesus.. its $89 on Amazon >.>;
