I need to do a bit of reasearch I'm not actually sure if my mobo does 5.1 or 7.1 lol. Ramuh.Urial said: » BRB Ordering Seha a "Congrats on the sex" cake. If you're extremely careful you can take the fan out and remove a lot of the more solid dust from it. As for the heatsink, you could just try blowing it out while the fan is removed. My mother's PC constantly had the CPU fan whirring up to max rpm until I cleaned it, at which point it ran about 15° cooler and much quieter. Ramuh.Laffter said: » rofl, I love that video. Nah, I mean that one may be okay but I've never used artic so I can't really say. In reality either the 120mm or 92 of these will be fine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103064 That being said the 92mm is probably more suited since IDK if your case would support a 120mm cooler.
I think I need a new PC entirely anyway, this one's getting up in age.
I love building PC's.
Only problem is last time I did that I cost myself a vacation because I doubled my intended budget >_> Whoops! But if you get the 680 you won't have to upgrade for 2 years! I had that problem yesterday ordering parts to repair my other PC. "Ok I just need a decent processor.. oh hey this one is only 20$ more and it's a good bit faster! and for 50$ more I can match my PC.. this motherboard is cheap but I can't OC it. better get the one next up in price. FILL ALL THE RAM SLOTS!" Ramuh.Urial said: » Bismarck.Misao said: » lol'd That's how that story goes for just about every component... or cuz you know...the difference that would be for the games you'd play wouldn't be that much. so get something that's decent and within budget. then splurge when you actually get more $$ when the uber graphics card comes out when the expected life span of your card is at the end. was mostly to comment on the 2 pages I back read since I went to lunch, but that is how it goes about pc components, been there before as well.
awww I plugged the optical thingy into my mobo and it seemed to do nothing :| I NEEDS HALP x.x
