I just realized Romance of the Three Kingdoms would make a good game for the whole naming characters for people from here thing... More so since you can define personality traits and what not.

It can't really be compared to dynasty warriors except for the setting and characters...
It's pritty much a take over the map game, theres 800ish defalt officers and you pick from several scenarios. Different ones have different officers based of when they come of age/die, once you start though there is no real guidence on how it goes you'll have one playthough where 2 rulers might team up and another where one will wipe the other out. It gives you I think 200 creation slots where you set up their personality, relitives, friends, enemies, birthday to determine their age, stats, skills and goals.
Really fun games they just take a long time to play XD
