Actually, it's kind of the opposite with me. I have a full-time job. I want a different one, but there's no way I'm giving this up when there's no guarantee I'll find anything that will last anywhere else right now.
I do my best to help my seasonal help and part-time people pick up hours, because I know there's nothing else out there for them.

My mom is a licensed L.P.N with 29 years experience. She's been trying to get a job for 3 months now.

I'm not going to Bismarck. Sadly I still have people I know and enjoy the company of on Shiva. :/ It just wouldn't feel right leaving 'em.
It really, really sucks having your internet, television, and telephone package all from one company. Especially when that one company is absolutely awful.
Lately they've been doing some "upgrades", and it's been knocking our entire package out for about 3 minutes at a time every 10 minutes or so. No internet, no TV, no phone, no wireless, and we can't even watch stuff we've pre-recorded on the PVR.
Technology, ladies and gentlemen. Crap like this is the reason why my mom still uses a typewriter for all of her paperwork.

Before we moved, I applied to be anything from an elementary school cafeteria cleaner to a sales clerk at Wal-mart to a soulless barista at Starbucks. No one was hiring. :/ If no one will hire you, then it doesn't matter how many places you apply.
