I think it goes without saying that we're all guilty of egotism--just of differing levels and expressions thereof.
The irony is that pointing someone egotism out sort of says something about your own egotism--and then I have to go and point out the obvious fact that we're all hypocrites, anyways, and it doesn't really whether or not we say one thing or another.

I should take more sociology and psychology classes.
It's fascinating how we're all subconsciously motivated impulsively which goes through cognitive checks in judgment and analysis from other areas in the brain to determine our course of action therein.
