They don't like complex bans. There really isn't a reason for that, aside from more programming for their Pokemon Online server.

Speed Boost Blaziken is a complete monster though and was rightfully banned. *** kills eeeeeeeeeeeverything.

Pretty much everyone introduced in Destiny was a terrible character, IMO.
Even if they started out good, they either turned to ***before the end or died before they had a chance.

I reckon Luna is a perfect example of the good->***problem. She started out promising, but by the end I found her quite pathetic really. Her dating Shinn didn't exactly help raise my opinion of her, either. I mean for gods' sake woman, develop some standards.

I will admit, however, that there is one thing I constantly enjoy from SEED. The MS designs. :x

I managed to go from 33% Body fat 265lbs (87.45lbs of body fat) down to 25.7% Body fat at 252lbs. (64.764lbs of body fat) So over all I lost nearly 23lbs in fat and even packed on about 10lbs of muscle. I'm really happy and proud of what I've learned in these past 12 weeks. Going from say a 47.5 Inch Gut down to 42 inches even made my day. Not to mention when I look in the mirror I am starting to see myself lean out and cut.

I look forward to another 12 weeks.

EVs have been in every single Pokemon game. I think the original intent of EVs was to give the illusion or difference between players who preferred certain places for training. You know the items, Protein, HP up, etc? Those raise a certain EV(Effort Value) by 10 unless the stat already has 100 in it. Also, if the stat has say, 96 in it, you will only get 4 EVs from the protein etc.

Since 4 EVs = 1 point in the stat that the EV correlates to, and since a single stat can only hold 255 EVs, the most effective way to EV train is to know the pokemon's specializations and best stats and EV train said stats. Only raise a single stat to 252 EVs to achieve the best EV spread as possible, because as someone else said, your pokemon can get a maximum of 510 EVs.

EVs you obtain from battles are based upon whether you receive EXP or not, I.E. participation or EXP share and then the type of EV you get is from the wild pokemon's highest base stat. Diglets for instance give a single speed EV. The evolved form of pokemon generally give more of the same EV as their baby forms, but sometimes the case changes, as in the case with Magikarp and Gyarados. Magikarp is speed, Gyarados gives attack.

Also... when you learn about EVs... in my opinion it almost completely ruins the game. Any EVed pokemon will stomp anything that you face in the storyline, one example being a time where I used a fully EVed level 50 Glaceon in Pearl to execute the Elite Four with very minimal item use. When you reach the multiplayer it becomes much like the endgame threads about FFXI. It's all just numbers and exploitation.

true true, she did fell for shin and stuff, but also, she was one of the.. (few)unique... characters in the show? seeing that a lot of people seemed to be a "clone/look-a-like" of someone else (which made the show less enjoyable)

I have to disagree. I've known about EVs since gen3 and I still enjoy each and every Pokemon game I play.
Of course, if you're EV training for anything other than serious online play, you're doin' it Torterrably wrong. :|

I dunno. It just makes me feel like the games are a stat factory now. I enjoy them still, even Pearl and his doofy hat, but meh. I would love to be ignorant about EVs again. I feel compelled to EV train now.

lol that game is pretty terrible, its just a korean grinder with a cash shop type deal. Extremely low drop rate on mercenary digimon egg so you have to kill a bajllion of them.

Okay tomorrow I'm going to make Rice Krispy treats, but using various types of cereal. Gonna do no more than 4, and I already thought of Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

7 years of FFXI have made me all but immune to the negative effects of excessive grinding. Not to mention the couple of years on Pirate King Online and Runescape before my time on XI. :|

About on par I think... Probably would have to say TOR if you are into pvp and FFXIV if pve, ToR does have some PvE stuff at 50 but I found it got stale pritty quick.
