I like how in Red & Blue, Dragon was strong against Dragon, however, the only dragon move was Dragon Rage(I think was the name?) which did a set amount of damage no matter what lol.
I claim this page in the name of Ni.

I think I remember it as being less complicated because there were less pokemon and the ratio of single to dual type was much, much higher back then. 41% of Pokemon in gen1 were dual types. As of gen5 that's gone up to 47% of Pokemon. All depends on what you consider "much" higher, I guess. :x Ramuh.Sagittario said: » The held items, pokemon abilities and repeat use of TMs does still make a mockery of the game at times. Repeated TM use was possible (and worse, because it restored PP) in previous generations too, and as you said the only difference was that you had to pay for them, and money isn't exactly hard to get in Pokemon games. ![]() True, ok so maybe the ratio wasn't as high as I thought it was, but 41% of 151 pokemon is roughly 62 and 47% of 650 pokemon (not entirely sure of the total pokedex capacity in gen V, but anyway that would be about 305. So it's a hell of a lot more Pokemanz. You're right, Dame. And those were the days when Psychic types were overpowered too. One exploitable weakness and it's *** Bug type. There were only 2-3 good bug attacks and 1 ghost attack that didn't do set damage (Lick).
AND (lol) the only Bug type you could really effectively use the bug attacks with was Beedrill, who was part Poison and always got his *** raped by Sabrina. Pokemon blue and red were so broken its not even funny lol

I'm jus mad Marshall keeps one shotting my ENTIRE team with Stone Edge. *** off fighting types using a rock move.
Loooool.
I love the games now. Gotta think more, which I'm sure isn't your strong suit. Make a better team. Yours fails if one move kills it
Leaving with this:
I used Dragonite before it was cool! Googled Digimon... Got this.I wish it were real. Would be so entertaining.
Ok you can go back to your Pokemon discussion now. /slips out Ramuh.Laffter said: » Loooool. I love the games now. Gotta think more, which I'm sure isn't your strong suit. Marshall was too weak. I killed his *** with my Musharna. (Musharna is boss)

Ghost was just awesome to toss out against normal types. Id just use amnesia and one shot everything with psychic then recover lol so broken when I was one shotting everyone
Asura.Chuuuuu said: » Make a better team. Yours fails if one move kills it My team did suck at first, I've been working to put something better together. My team right now is: 100 Volcarona 76 Tornadus 76 Hydreigon 73 Gyarados (TM stone edge, ice beam and thunderbolt) 71 Serperior (TM toxic) 60 Darmanitan (TM psychic) In the process of bringing up Darmanitan with a predominantly fighting/psychic moveset. It'd probably help if 4/6 of your team wasn't weak to rock. :x
Grass sucks to be used ever. Too many flying types
Asura.Chuuuuu said: » Grass sucks to be used ever. Too many flying types Why don't you use Bronzong? It can learn psychic moves and fighting does 1x to it and it has high Def
Grass has too many weaknesses to be useful.
