Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Personally, I'm cool paying 50p for a new costume (Dancer Bartz and Ruler of Heaven Emperor were great) or £2 for 4 new music tracks on Dissidia 012, and I'd gladly pay £2.50 to be able to battle, and play as one of my favourite villains in a new game.
I used to spend more than that on a days lunch back in school.
SE seems to be doing DLC right, for now at least.

dlc as outfits and stuff is not bad, especially for a fair price (dissidia) but paying dlc for content that is already on the disk, like EA or NamcoBandai does, that is just... terribad

Why not just do what XBL does and charge people to play online? If they really HAVE to have money that badly.. >.> Used games is all I buy because I'm poor >.> I think if all the systems start doing this then I will just stop playing games.

If they're gonna start blocking used games, I'm going to stop buying games altogether.
I buy my games new, so it won't affect me directly anyway, but I can't support this kind of insanely selfish ***. :/

I'll support developers that create games worth more than their salt by purchasing their good games full retail, but not everyone is privileged enough to throw $60 out for every triple-A title that gets put out there. And some may even come late into the game and want these great titles when they're far beyond their print date. Will they have to give into greedy e-bay sellers, only to be further penalized by a console that punishes people that try to save money through used games or have a remote sense of enjoyment from nostalgic titles, forcing them to further ebay older consoles or dust them off and pray they keep working?

I really dislike the direction this industry is going, regardless of rumor and speculation.

Ugh, Salads are the devils work. I go to Wendys for the Frostys or a Baconator D:

Now that I think about it, imposing these restrictions and penalties are implied as a sort of pirate or loophole deterrent, but in reality it will have a counter productive effect on the user base and ironically promote further piracy to get around the *** they keep forcing upon everyone. Piracy is a service issue, the way to beat it is to provide a service more friendly, intuitive, and rewarding than piracy itself while being reasonable and fair in price.

Slapping legitimate consumers into irons is not conducive maintaining consistent business.

I love to buy original games but it costs too much. Which is why for every original game I buy I pirate 20.

Well 15 minute survey to make 5 bucks isn't a terrible waste of time if I can do it from my phone while waiting around for auditions. But I need to find a legit one.
