Being the avid coffee drinker I am.. I've really wanted one. Someone I know swears up and down it's the best coffeemaker around.
Going to try it out tomorrow morning. i have one of the big coffee pots, and i'm usually to lazy to measure out just enough for me (even though i know its 4 spoonfuls of ground coffee and water up to the 2 line)
Here's my dough recipe:
- All purpose or Bread Flour (I prefer Bread flour... so puffy and good) - Warm Water (About 2 cups, around 100-110 degrees) - A package of Instant Yeast - Sugar or Molasses - Olive Oil Pretty much, have the water warm (a minute or so in the microwave will do wonders), then put in the package of yeast (well, sans the package) and a tiny amount of sugar or molasses (about a tablespoon or less) Let it sit in room temperature for about 5 minutes until the top gets all foamy and smells like beer. Then, put about 4 cups of flour in a bowl with a smidgen of salt and a tablespoon of oil, then pour in the water and stir like crazy. It should be smooth and tacky, not sticky. Like if it sticks to your hand and doesn't come off, add more flour. If it can't stay together, add more water. Knead it for about 5-10 minutes (the more you knead it, the better the texture). Then, put it in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap and a towel for an hour or two in room temperature, or at least 5 hours in the fridge. Then, when you're ready to cook it, take it out and punch it down because it will have doubled in size. Then try to form a circle with it about 12 inches or so across. If you need a smaller size, rip the original ball in half. Then you're good to top it and cook it. As for my Thanksgiving pizza, you'll need: - turkey - pre-made mashed potatoes - turkey gravy - mozzarella cheese (or pretty much any cheese of your choice) - corn - Lots and lots of pepper Then, pretty much gravy on the bottom followed by a layer of cheese, then turkey and corn, top it off with mashed potatoes and finish it off with another layer of cheese. Soooooooo tasty. Awesome, Thanks Mag. saved that in a text file. once I finally get moved in to my house I'll give it a shot. going to try to be fully moved by next monday
Sweet dude. Grats on the new place, too. Good luck moving that baby grand. :P
The thing I love about pizza is it's so pliable and open to interpretation. You can even put cranberry sauce or stuffing on there if you've got the gumption (I personally can't stand stuffing, that's why I didn't include it). I've got more if you ever want to try anything else out. You will eat the pepper, and dammit you will like it!
I personally put it right in my eyeballs for that extra peppery... AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY EYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Speaking of awkward concoctions Mag, I made a left over Hibachi burrito the other day.
Was amazing. Dude, they have this place out here called Chino Bandito. I have yet to go there, but it was featured on Food Network. I am very curious, though. As long as there's no rice, I'll be happy.
But rice is so good. :| It's unfortunate that you were overexposed to it growing up!

I wanted to eat that but had 4 minutes to heat it up and leave my house. Odin.Minefield said: » Looked up, quarter sized spider on my ceiling, shat bricks.
