This was hand written on a post it note on a collegues toolbox at one of the bmw dealerships i work at. He's short, at least 60, has an amazing character and ussually puts a smile on your face if he can. His wife has been struggling with cancer, and the outcome isnt looking good (he doesnt talk about it, but i know from others) and he is having a tough time with life, you can see it in his eyes.

So anyway, he wasnt in today and i was around his ramp working on a car when i noticed the post it note stuck on his toolbox. I am wondering if anyone knows the source of this quote since i cant find anything online (apart from slight variations of it, but still no origin). It has kind of touched me and got me thinking...

maybe he thought it up himself?

I've heard it before. Once of those things passed around the internet with no source every cited.

I've seen it too, just not sure where. I'm about 99% sure he didn't make it up himself.

Either way it's a funny and neat quote.

Makes me wonder if his wife wrote it or if its from something that means something to them, but i guess it can't be the latter if there is no real origin. I suppose there are 100 spins you could put on a quote like that, although having said that, it is there for a reason, whichever it may be.

My built in wireless adapter has finally decided to die on me (after only a year).. Now I have to attach a cord to my laptop to get online.. Acer's are not good computers.. do yourself a favor and ignore them if you're buying one for someone this holiday.
