Think I burned myself out with my game. Trying to come up with a mechanic for magic. I know what I want it to look like, but my brain just turns to mush as soon as I think about it. I'll probably skip that part of it for now and move onto other technological stuff.

My friends are encouraging me to run a test game in two weeks. I'm both really excited and pants-shittingly terrified.

I never buy clothes for people. It's either going to be way too small so the recipient won't wear it, or it's going to be so big that it's going to make the recipient think that I think they're larger than they really are.

A few years ago I've started keeping a little cloud-based document where I jot down ideas if they come up in conversation. Or even if I see something and think about it. Stuff like gimmicky interests or practical needs, just to give me something to base gift ideas off of. Not that it always works, mind you.

i thought the He-man show was pretty fun. gave insight on other characters, that would have been impossible to do if certain stuff didn't happen.
but then i remember the internet is filled with salty people who will complain about anything.

Kinda afraid here.

My company its almost like forcing employees to take “whatever” vaccine before returning to the office till the end of this year.

Im not against that but i want more time, wait for better vaccines, etc.

So im worrying i will end fired because i dont really want to take any vaccine if im not completely decided about this.

How is it in other countries? Did you have any situation where you had to prove you took any vaccine? Personally i think this info should be considered private.

Vaccine records have always occupied a unique place in terms of "medical privacy"- as its common for parents to have to provide proof of vaccination for their children to attend public schools. Yes, there are "religious exemptions"...which I find absolutely foolish. Then again, I'm an atheist so I understand I'm not in the same boat as those with a strong faith. I've just always looked at that particular angle as "didn't God create the people who developed such vaccines?" Oh well- different discussion for a different day.

Right now, I'm seeing some large-scale public events requiring proof of vaccination for COVID-19 in order to attend, but in terms of employment it seems to be completely up to each individual employer for what they expect...which I agree with. If sharing such info, or not agreeing to the terms stated by an employer is a major deal, no one is requiring you to work there. Doesn't strike me as that different as requiring certain attire for a job.

My province is encouraging people to get vaccines by lifting restrictions for the vaccinated at a faster pace. Canada as a whole isn't really regulating anything.

I hope this topic doesn't become too political, but I am in whole favour of vaccinations. My province has been a great example, going from the #1 worst region in North America to being almost completely open just a couple of months later because so many people are getting their shots.

IDK which ones you have available but DO IT. Even the Chinese vacs are way better than nothing. I'm vacced and at my age they are saying booster shot at 6 months. I will do that too.

I wouldn't quite go so far as to say that. The problem with ineffective vaccines is that they create a false sense of security that can ultimately backfire. But yeah, I guess if you have absolutely no other option....
