Yeah I could see that too. I was gonna say maybe one or two on accident and then realizing wait, something is wrong, but he might have just done that with the whole stack as well.
I guess some of us just pay more attention to what we're about to buy than others.
I ended up having to buy my thf's knife, tried for hours to get trig to drop with only th2. 40k is current AH price, but then I saw someone's bazaar had it for 25k. I looked at it for like 10min before I made sure it was what I wanted, lol.
And that's just a 40k item. I 'invested' most of my gil in t. whiteshells I saw that were the cheapest listed on the server. I took the time to research it, what people were paying, what people were selling at, etc.

I just recently made out on an item on XIV, supposed to be a 40k item and I got it for around 4k (I didn't even know, I thought it did say 40k... my brain deceived me) I kept waiting and waiting to see if I got a /tell from the person I bought it from (I believe the board shows transaction history) but I never got it, so I either got someone who owned up to his flub, or some kind person who doesn't mind losing a few gil.

Actually if the Byne bills were selling for 6K each, that would of been 3.6billion.
If your details are right, you sold each bill for 50 gil each, so actually your the one that got robbed. LOL. Send a tell to the guy saying you made a mistake and want another 3,470,000,000 gil from him.

Maybe because I just woke up, but I am reading he sold 600,000 One Byne Bills for $30,000,000.
But I just reread that, I gotcha ya, totally missed what he was saying.
600,000 gil = 1 Byne bill
