1920x1080 is 16:9 aspect ratio.. aka widescreen.
Once you set everything properly it will look better, you'll see more and it won't be stretched to hell. The main option you need to change as well will be in-game under one of the menus. There is an aspect ratio setting there for 4:3, 16:9, and 16:10. IIRC. Been a few years since I played.

I don't know what's wrong with my printer, doesn't answer commands and gives "unknown error" and keeps making the soud of a steamboat even though it isn't doing anything.

I should soon do some maintenance on it, but I've barely printed from it, and it was a $400+ color laser printer.

I hate reconfiguring epsxe, I can't get the damn thing to work sometimes, other times it's fine...
edit: nvm the .iso I was using is corrupted...
time to retorrent or rerip all of that. (I have the discs just am lazy).

But it doesn't respond to my commands so it doesn't print. Just goes poppoppoppoppoppoppoppoppo...I don't even know how to fix it, things I should just steal one from my dad.

I've actually even re-installed it, but its problem is not with the pc; it just starts doing unknown things the moment I turn it on and then complains it's not able to finish whatever it is that it was trying to do(which was its own initiative).

Is the printer fairly old? Sounds like a driver compatibility issue. Though with printers it can be a number of things. Sometimes the printers just go bat-***insane.
Open it up, take out the ink cartridges, and make sure the contacts aren't all gunked up inside the printer. Also check to make sure there are no little bits of paper stuck anywhere near the rollers and that the rollers themselves are clean.

My printer kept messing up that way and found out the cord that had it connected to the computer was messed up. Would stop mid print and be like error derp. Try seeing if moving the cord, or giving it some slack helps. Maybe a new cord? :c
