Here's a random thought I had. I'm close to finishing Bravely Default and am considering getting Pokemon Y after. I figure I could get it cheaper used at GameStop but then... GameStop no longer requires boxes or manuals anymore so I'd better just buy new. Then a further thought; doesn't GameStop make more of their money off of used games? They pay wholesale for new copies for a small profit but pay $5-10 on trade-ins and make a pretty good profit selling them between $25-37~ So why did they lower their standards on their bread and butter and still expect us to pay $2-3 less for potentially JUST a cartridge/disc when I can have brand new for that much and they make a small profit?

I don't consider myself a "gamer" anymore, I find the term disturbing, at best I would be a "casual" I play to enjoy, and don't care about every game that comes out, hate most of the "popular" games, and honestly can't stand most of the people who identify with the term "gamer."
As far as that goes, I don't trade in games, I typically buy to keep, and have only really sold 1 game. I still have the box for my SNES...

I see the hardcore people and it really ruins it for me most of the time, my friend has nearly ruined pokemon for me, I guess how I play ff7/8 could possibly ruin it for others though, so meh.

Yeah, could have done without knowing what ev's were.
As far as packaging goes, I usually have a place I put my games that don't have boxes and such.

Been neglecting the Pokemon games, I usually buy new versions late...also the Hex Maniac is kinda...yeah.

Hmmm, further north then? That'd be interesting.
Honestly I'm not sure what really happened to the Akaviri within the most recent era. I recall reading a bit about ambush and betrayal in Oblivion, but I sadly went through the lore hastily without getting a good grasp on how it connected and would connect in the future.
I should play it again so I can learn more of the Ayleids.
EDIT: Oh, they were eaten by the Tsaesci serpent race.
Tsaesci = Akaviri. Akavir is the continent to the east of Tamriel, every race there falls under the Akaviri category, but the Akavir that Tamriel know best are the human-like ones that became potentates of the empire for many centuries. The serpent-like Tsaesci haven't eaten anyone, but they've been at war with the ape race and have enslaved the human akavir.
Unlikely we'll go there until the rest of the provinces have been touched by a main TES game, if we ever do.

I...actually never played Morrowind. I started TES with Oblivion, someone in Ni recommended it years ago and posted SI screenshots, I immediately ordered it. lol The skies of the Shivering Isles are still a pretty sight at night.

If this guy didn't have a 3DS Friend Code, judging by what he's wearing and the merchandise in the background, especially the Squall statuette, I'd be convinced this is Dameion, but Dame is a no-3DS-havin' Lameion.
