I just can't catch a break. 2004-2010: hit by 3 cars
January 14 - March 3rd 2014: hit by a bus and 2 cars.
Today's doesn't SEEM too bad yet, but I'll probably feel it tomorrow. Didn't get knocked off, but it was an SUV in a 55 mph zone, so I'll assume she was doing 45-55 when she hit me. My shoulder knocked her mirror off and left it hanging by a wire... same shoulder that got fractured by the bus in January. Not feeling much now though so hopefully it stays that way

The 3 this year were all error on the driver's parts, didn't really have anything to do with my habits. Aka, FL drivers
Tiger can you buy me something cool when you get that settlement check? I consider tree houses rather cool, but I have no tree, so that's a no go.
First thing is replacing my bike, it's in pretty bad shape and is out of alignment. If I let go of the handlebars and ride no hands, the bike will shake/wobble pretty violently. When I went to get an estimate for repairs, the guy said he honestly shouldn't even let me ride out of the shop on the bike, as it's done and could come apart at almost any time lol.
So I guess replacing that will be purchase #1

Whether you're within your rights or not... do you want to keep getting hit by cars/busses? I mean 6 times in the last 10 years you've been hit and you've not only destroyed a bike or two but you've injured yourself as well...
Maybe it's just me but if I kept getting hit, my fault or not, doing the same thing I'd change it up a bit so it didn't happen again...

There's not really much to change up unless I feel like going an extra 6 miles out of the way to get to school (turning a 14 mile ride into a 20 mile ride each way).
Been hit on the road, been hit in the sidewalk, been hit on back-streets, been hit in residential. Once in a parking lot, etc. Not really many more options.
Even almost got hit in the bike lane once. Only avoided it due to very quick reaction time. Optimus Prime was turning right and about 3 of his 13 wheels protruded into the bike lane. Had to hop off my bike and pull it up onto the sidewalk at the last second or that woulda been accident No. 7 lol
