Yesterday consisted of almost dying in a car accident as some douche ran a red light and almost t-boned us, if not for my slam brakes reaction. (Wasn't even a yellow-omg i can make this red... The car in front of us already left turned on our green!)

My human physiology class this semester, I've already had over 50 pages of homework due in the last 2 weeks. Thursday, I just gave up and didn't even bother printing the 20 page assignment due Friday :< I'm sorry but it's so unrealistic to teach a college course on the basis that it's your only class.

20 pages of questions over physyiology, mostly free response questions. She's given us 3 15-20 page assignments now with less than 24 hours to complete them.
It takes me about 5~6 hours to do a packet because I have to use the book. (And a lot of theoretical questions...)
Ahhh. Gotta love college level busy work. I actually have a professor this year who is appointing assignments like this:

I think challenge would be more applicable if there was at least some consideration to the fact that their students had other classes and life endeavors to partake in. When every professor has the mindset that their lectures and work hold precedence and priority over everyone else, the outcome will become rather counter intuitive.
