Aside from the hair they look fine to me lol

So... i'm looking at getting a laptop (a decent semi gaming one if possible that can run XIV at least)
Problem is ... I have no clue where to start looking, or what's a good 'brand'... i'm not looking to break the bank on it but I am not opposed to paying a little out of pocket (1-1.5k? I dunno lol)
I'll be using it for photo editing as well, and school work (if I go the path i'm thinking of ... CAD stuff)
Ideas/suggestions?

probably at most ... $1,500 (maybe a little higher... still waiting to hear back about a few things so price is iffy)

I bought an Acer Aspire 7551 back in October of 2010 for $850 (with 1 year warranty) from Newegg.com and it runs FFXIV pretty decently, although it runs hot from time to time (I think thats partially my problem tho, need to get some compressed air and clean a bit of the dust out), with a Radeon HD 5650 with 1 GB of vRAM. It doesn't run as hot for ARR as it did for 1.0, if theres a positive there. Course running on Win7. It scored around a 1700 on the Benchmark for the XIV Beta, which was considered standard

Az has a MSI and from playing around on it I like it.
From my research in the past I'd say either an ASUS or MSI with an I7 and a strong GPU. Can be done for $1100+ depending on what bells and whistles you want.

I mean unless you want bottle necking from your tiny dual core i5.
TBH look at one that has an I7 and a gtx 765. They're not too costly and have pretty strong performance for a laptop.
