I don't think anything will keep me from riding. I kind of got a bike on a whim, but it is an experience all of its own.
I took to it like a duck to water, it just feels right is the best way I can explain it. I don't have the urge to go spewing down the rode at 100 MPH and I'm actually pretty safe (minus times when I get a little pissy at people humping my lane or ***).

Well, I hear that when you take on riding a motorcycle, it's almost a rite of passage to wipe once, therefore reminding you to respect it above all else, although it seems you have that impression before you even had the accident. It's a good thing that it wasn't worse than that. Also, I can't say that I'm not envious. I've always wanted to drive a motorcycle (specifically a Harley or a Chopper), but with my accident record, the odds of me getting into a nasty collision are... high.

Yeah, I've been trying to do everything right. I check my tires and my oil and the whole T-CLOCs before every ride, and I usually wear protective gear.
I'm happy for once in my life, and the motorcycle adds to that happiness. I'm not gonna screw it up my smashing my head into the pavement.

Gonna watch Child's Play 2 because she has never seen any Chucky movies and this is one of the better ones.

I forgot to take before pictures of my finger, but I'll snap some pictures when I take off the bandage and clean it tomorrow afternoon. It isn't that horrible now, the NP did a good job stitching me up, but you could spread the cut and see my finger bones... first time I have ever needed stitches and not just super glue myself back together.
Gonna watch Child's Play 2 because she has never seen any Chucky movies and this is one of the better ones.

Oh, before I forget. To any Wheel of Time fans, I saw Brandon Sanderson today at a panel at the Phoenix Comicon, and he talked briefly about an adaptation of the series. Right now Universal has the rights and they are definitely planning on making something. Sanderson and Robert Jordan's widow Harriet are both very adamant that the book series be made into a television series like Game of Thrones. Right now it's in the beginning stages, but it was confirmed that they are planning on doing something with those rights, for a change.
