wow, I just tasted the worst cupcake ever.
I came up with the great idea of going to a fancyshmancy cupcake place that makes foodnetworkish type cupcakes for mothers day.
they had like..no flavors left at all except chocolate and a blueberry lavender...omg..lavender..we got 2 chocolates for the mothers in our lives and bought a lavender out of curiosity.
it was terrible. It tasted like freshly mowed grass and the flavor does not leave your mouth.
we never lol'd so hard.

I sent one mother a tall coffee mug painted with lilies and stuffed with a cliche tiny teddy bear and her favorite chocolates.
I sent the other mother a flower night light in one of her favorites, because she's adopting a toddler and a night light might get her some more sleep in the near future if it keeps the kid from being scared.
The third mother is getting taken out to dinner when she comes to visit in a couple weeks. ^^
I'm so proud that I remembered in time to get them their presents this time. ^^ Best daughter ever! For once!
