I started Fire Emblem Path of Radiance as my next game last night. Going on a gamecube (and slight wii) binge.

Actually i've been wanting to play through earthbound again ... or mother (I found the translated ROM of it... hope it get's released on Wii U VC ... it's a nintendo translation ... so it's technically 'made' just never released)

Earthbound was released in the US so I never understood why nintendo are such *** about it. They already have it translated,so why is it taking 6 months to hit the VC. Hell it's already on the JP VC

Mother (aka Earthbound Zero) was only released in japan, it was the first game in the series, nintendo of america DID translate it (there are 3 - 4 copies floating around of the pre release betas) they should be putting that up on the VC as well... it would mean ALOT to tons of people (to the people who follow the game ...)

iirc earthbound was mother II. I believe they would have trouble translating the games due to.... the concepts conveyed by those games.
I believe half the reason they changed it from mother > earthbound would be relating to the controversial interpretations of the underlying theme of the game/ending.
