I actually had a scone the other day... and while it was shitty, which I'll partially blame on the fact that it was a raisin scone lol... now I'm curious as to what a scone that doesn't have dumb raisins in it, but instead glorious blueberries, would taste like.

It was kinda similar to a fluffy, buttery biscuit. But this is all tainted by the raisins, so I wouldn't take any of this too seriously.

What I'm really suggesting here is that we make scoffins - scone-muffin hybrids.

pumpkin anything is usually pretty delicious... seems i will actually have to attempt making scoffins. or at least scones... will give them a shot at redemption and just hope that other one was bad due to the raisins >_>

I feel like I have to defend the raisin. I love them. Especially in a bowl full of bran. But I will concur that everything pumpkin is amazing! Well, pastries and sweet stuff, at least. I tried pumpkin soup and... it was not delicious.

I don't exactly hate raisins, but it's quite a poor choice for an addition to scones. I saw some raisins infused with blueberry juice or some crap at the grocery store the other day. I don't think could possibly be bad.

I tried my best to channel my inner Micromachines guy. That part was fun to write, though. Especially the: "Do not let the M.A.P.S. touch water or feed it after midnight." part. :P As long as I get an A, I'm happy as a clam.
