Are you still talking about campaign battles, Danagon, or are you just talking to hear yourself talk? Honestly. NMs for drops have absolutely nothing to do with campaign battles for xp. wtf are you yakking about?

Should do it like Everquest 2 does and leash the mobs. At a certain distance the mob breaks the encounter and goes back to its spawn point. In our case it would need to go back to the fortification. Should be an easy fix...

I have an idea! Why don't allied tags have a hidden effect of electric fence like those dog collars so when you run away too far from the fortification you get super mega shock DoT of 50 hp/tick xD

Nice! Or maybe even have the collars explode after a certain amount of time out of bounds? lol

haha, ninja 2hr to all ppl that run off with the mobs

Certain people on certain jobs are always going to get more xp during campaign just because of the nature of it. But actively making it so no one else CAN get xp on mobs should simply not be allowed. How about if the two of us agree to disagree on this, then? I still think they should make a fix for it. You still think it's acceptable. Very well.

he does have a point.. people have no problem camping on top of each other for exp parties.. fighting to claim imps in the mire or birds at nyzul bird camp.. yet in campaign they want to share.. im not saying thats anyone on here but i know people like that personally..

Pfft... if thats the case then Mobs need a limit of people engaged / able to attack at once, 10+people on 1 mob thanks for the offer but I'll pass. or we just need 100 more mobs -_-... Solo I'm interested.

The point is, as others an the OP are talking about, is range-of-pull.

I'm pretty sure we can all agree there's no need to pull the mob to the other end of the zone.

exactly, to not let the npcs go on a rampage on your mobs, all u have to do is pull it like 20 feet away from the fort...

I usually do go on ranger. And guess what? It's still rude regardless of whether I can track you or not, and people do occasionally have the brains to pull mobs out of range of widescan.

One simple fix: More mobs, Soloer's get their <3, and the people who waste their time destroying things for minimal exp.. have their <3 too.. everyone happy.

Or the battle can end based on a time limit more so than however many mobs are remaining, that way soloers don't go about wasting other people's time waiting for a new battle and or wondering what the hell is taking so long.

Well I gladly /shout when I'm soloing so people can leave. I'm sorry that I like my 1.5k avg a battle no matter how many mobs came.. as long as I get my one. and CB ending on a time limit is almost the same thing seeing as more mobs would be the result of more time... so thanks for agreeing :D.

I think it'd be an easy fix... Soon as the CB gets down to one mob a new NPC spawns... call it the "(Basty/Sandy/Windy) Seeker."

Have it pop from the CA that gives tags and watch it as it makes a beeline to the last attacking mob... Just follow the white rabbit as it were!

I second this. It's stupid to fight the NMs prior to the regular mobs anyways not to mention it takes a good length of time to get the bosses down, especially when they're the curing type ><

that would b great as long as a million npcs weren't playing at the same time. cuz i've seen them take out the bosses pretty quick.

Ziggs sums it up... you ever see Vunkert or Jugner with 2 full squads of NPC? Outside of the Orc megaboss with the gold mask, two squads will chew through anything... Might be better to set a %, kill 75% of the attacking mobs and they're broken and have to retreat.

Much as I <3 my "white rabbit" idea setting a threshold of mobs killed would make a lot more tactical sense...

That's why I really think they need to fix the way NPCs deploy and make them smarter. It is balanced sometimes, but it get's horribly skewed a lot. 40 NPCs on 6 Orcs or 40 Orcs on 6 PC's? Wtf??
