My Xbox frozen 4 times lastnite couldn't enter Port-Jeuno/Ru'Lude gardends was so pissed off went and did campaign, was fine got a Abyssea pt on drk got my 15 merits was fine got a teleport-Mea frozed after maybe 10mins, said screw it left the xbox off logged on today warp to port-jeuno ran to ru'lude did my limit break got my emote rdy to do frozed after i did my limit break ppl spamming jobemotes none stop.
I'm having the same freeze up problems. I did email SE's tech support last night. I got a response from them this morning to try running check file, and if that didn't resolve the problem to call their customer service number.
Of course I ran check file before I even emailed SE, and told them that in my email.......If I have a chance tonight after work Ill call customer support and post any details/news they give me.

idk but i logged off for awhile and played MW2.... ***is pissing me off atleast i got my Limit break done .... but im fine in abyssea areas for now..
My xbox was fine for the 2-3 hours I was on last night after update, was running around jeuno and new zones frequently, now I come back from work and I froze the moment I warped back into jeuno.
And now it freezes the moment I log back in lol...

Only froze for me in jeuno and its done it twice. glad my laptop is finshed updateing lol /farewell xbox
Orz this is lovely.. xbox is my only way to play... i couldn't even dl the update last night its dling now.. 3 hrs and 38 mins
i did like 4 hours in abby then my shatbox froze,logged back in played for another 30 mins then sat in jueno moving rdm gear to mog sack and it froze again.

100% informing a GM when i log in again
100% suggest everyone who posted on here to do the same so they know about the issue.
if they even bother reading on here which i think would be slower than us lot informing them.
P.s also my friends shatbox froze 9 times after the update and i laughed because i thought i was safe....

This just happened to me again, happened 5 times last night. Honestly, if this has been reported, SE should of gotten off their butts and done something about it.
7th time trying the moment i log in i see the Linkshell message pop up and then it freeze's.
Tried Checking FFXI files and POL files and nothing changes still freezes the moment i log in. D=

Once last my my linkshell message didn't pop up, it said "An error occured" Maybe it has something to do with that? Just a thought. One guy was trying to tell me its the xbox's fault that its dying. Would be pretty strange if a few 1000 people's xboxes decided to up and start dying all at the sametime...

I'm blaming the new emotes. Had a few xbox freeze in jeuno with people spamming them, then later I was farming in fort ghelsba and a90 rdm used 3 emotes and I froze again. Damn him. Not much logic there but I need a scapegoat

This is BS i had a feeling this was something unusual ever since that damn update all ive had is freezing issues none stop glad to see im not the only 1 with this problem. I just hope something is done about this soon.
I don't think it's the job emotes by themselves causing the freezing, as I froze within seconds of warping into/logging on outside port jeuno's MH without seeing any emotes used
ps2/ps3 users will be fixed before xbox360 users.... just frozed again at that armor guy for the 5th time....

Honestly , it had nothing to do with it , well i dont think you just need to swap 2 linkshell at like the same time and you'll see the message in red instead of your lsmes ''An error occured''
I'm gonna send a message to SE about that issues and hope they will fixed this froze 3 times in jeuno for no reason at the start i thought my xbox was about to pop red rings cause it happen to me couple years ago for leaving my xbox online all night but the first very first time it happen after the update its at Einarjhar like 2mins before it but that happen when you have a lot of people around ya , but we were just 9!! come on..

This could possibly be related simply to an overload of congestion data in a specific location that causes the 360 to crash.
Similar to the whole besieged thing always crashing xbox users.

this sucks freeze up in 1 min cant do a thing they need a update a fixed this soon .
I usually only froze in besieged or dynamis...never in abyssea.... but after the updates this months I have frozen twice in abyssea! I was able to log on, walk through port jeuno just fine, did lb/got a pt very fast/got to level 90/19 merits and then froze. was gonna go leave pt anyway once I got 20 merits so I just left after loggin back in. Froze in PJ though.....>_>;
Husband's xbox is doin the same thing =( Hopefully there will be a maint soon. He's pissed.

well this isnt a solution but what i have been doing is log in on pc when i go to port jeuno then get whatever i need stones or port to maw then log out then switch to xbox, yes its a pain but this freezing is rather aggravating and just turning off xbox like 5 times in a row is not good for system.
