My point still stands. I only have MNK and BRD levelled, and I'm still nearly filled up with gear that I NEED.

Add my SCH gear and random other gear I'm not going to throw due to it being valuable or useful if I level another job, and I can easily fill 240 slots.

That's understandable. I've been known to drop food items or something just to get an item from satchel to inventory. -.-

BUT I'm still excited for more room!!
And single piece storage, wish I didn't spend that one point for MNK head now.

Mage jobs
Macro gear

Arrows, Plethora of Ranged Weapons. Nin tools. QD Cards, etc.
I can't believe this needed to be explained...

Exactly. 240 slots will still not be enough unless you only play 2 jobs actively, and throw away or sell all other equipment.

it may be his second account he's posting from, you never know, but even if it is his first [and only] character, it's best not to sum it up like that, since he'll learn of the issue either way ;z

Apparently, your idea of not sucking at this game involves QQing over not being able to macro gear sometimes.

You're gonna tell me that for the one job you happen to be on, you're going to fill up EVERY slot you have available.

And FYI, 70 is my highest, but that doesn't mean I'm not experienced.

I know very well the importance of macroing in equipment for a given situation. I know the jobs that need the most equipment to be ready for any situation.

That's why when you don't have space for stuff you need and you're headed to a certain event, you remove the stuff you won't need for the event in favor of the stuff you will.

I think people are carrying around ***from other jobs is all.

His highest job is 70... he doesn't know...

240 slots for one job seems kind of overkill though. Unless you're a Red Mage who likes to melee as well as be awesome at magic, I don't see why you'd even need to macro with 240 pieces of gear. I always carry around my PDT and MDT sets with me no matter what job I switch to. PDT is like 5-7 pieces, MDT is like 6-8 pieces, all the elemental staves, then the rest is mostly job specific ish for whatever job I switch to.

To need 240 slots for one job, only way I could see is with RDM as..
PDT, MDT, melee gear with high attack, melee gear with high accuracy, high accuracy enfeebling set, high potency mind set, high potency nukes, high accuracy nukes, high enhancing set for phalanx and barspell, fire resist set, water resist set, enmity down set, haste, fast cast, high mp, high hp, healing mp set, healing hp set, convert set, all elemental staves, all useful ToTM staves, several swords and daggers, ranged accuracy set for Failnaught as /rng, and ranged attack set for Failnaught as /rng.

I think that would be about the only way to make use of 240 slots for a single job, unless you are carrying around gear for level syncing which is pretty damn stupid.

It's pretty scary for rdm, but there's a lot of common stuff across all jobs.

For exemple you have 70 blu. You'll quickly accumulate a lot of gear for that job too.

TP
Physical nuking
Cure
Magical nuking
PDT
MDT

< .<

Okay, I admit my mistakes here. More macroable slots would be great.

I already have TP, WS, and physical spell sets but right now, they're not taking up more than 30 slots. /sigh

***.

My satchel is loaded with a wide array of food and meds, darts, bolts (and quivers), shihei (and toolbags), every NIN tool that can proc grellow in addition to sneak and invis tools, situational weapons, pop items, +1/+2 items (nowhere else to put them), imperial silver coins, and warp items. It's at the point where I can't reliably store secondary gear sets in my satchel.

I'm going to load that mog sack full of gear. With any luck, SE will eventually implement a way for us to swap gear from either the satchel or sack (or both!) into our active inventory. /dreams

On thf/nin with all of my gearswaps I currenty have ~75/80 inventory. That would easily be 80/80 if I had all the gear that I wanted. *** the PS2 limitations, we need more inventory space.

On a side note, I'm very happy for the 80 extra sack space; will give me a place to store all my crafting mats instead of muling every time.

edit: that 75/80 is without toolbags/bolt quivers/food/meds. I try to keep those in my satchel until I need them.

um, yeah.

OK people want answers... here ya go.
LONG VERSION:

MOG STORAGE: Is holding non-upgraded abjs, AF+ Items from Limbus. It holds -1 items for Dyna, as well as some of the holiday ***they wont let us store yet. And some random Abyssea Triggers as well as ZNM triggers. its full. 80/80 at the moment.

MOG HOUSE: Is holding gear for the PLD I'm leveling, Furniture for the Storage slots, and A LITERAL CORNUCOPIA of Triggers between Kirin Sets, Sea, Limbus, Etc being a LS Leader. it at about 75/80

MOG LOCKER: Is holding a PLETHORA of R/EX Non storable not mule-able gear for RNG and SAM. a multitude of gear swaps and situational *** depending on what I'm subbing.

MOG SATCHEL... same thing as with as with the locker. its a wonderland of COR Gear both R/EX and AHable. Ammo, Cards, Food, Meds, Plus what ever triggers I may need for the event I'm running at the moment. it at about 73/80

PERSONAL INVENTORY has my RDM Gear. about 70/80 worth of gear swaps. *** like 6 pairs of gloves, 5 bodies, 4 heads, etc etc

ON TOP of ALL THIS... I have ***on Storage NPCs as well as On a Mule.

Ask me why I don't mule half this crap?
A) 3/4's is R/EX...so it's stuck on me
B) with sending ***8 items at a time... If i need to mule...say...Corsair ***...It would take an hour.

After playing the game for at around 7 years... and amassing ALL this ***...

Go ahead... ASK AGAIN why I have 240 Slots filled with ***.

If anyone else CAN'T understand this...
Then you obviously
A) Don't run an EG-LS
B) Have maybe one job leveled
C) Have A LOT of jobs leveled...but you think Pearle/Teale/Aur is AWESOMELY Universal and never swap the *** out of it.
