I found them "Sort of" easy. I died a few times, mostly cause of outside Leve aggro, or Memory leak performance dip that caused too much lag.
But as a Lancer with Doomspike... I could effectively clear leaves in three attacks, Two to build TP, and one doomspike to kill all the enemies I could line up at once. That was fun, so maybe my intensely strategic mind (/stroke ego) made things a bit easier for me!
Anywho, Physical Level and Rank proficiency work in tandem slightly better than I envisioned when reading articles. It really was a good call to say it's a system like Oblivion/Morrowind, where your actual physical development is nearly independent of your prowess with certain fighting styles/weapon, and the system is much more rewarding than Skill-grinding in The Boyahda Tree... That's for damn sure.
