The story is rather intriguing, I'm looking forward to see how it works out :/

Yeah it is, nothing comes after it wish it did. This means the real time line is the future time line ;/. I just miss the OOT link.
I want to play Link's Awakening now! The end always made me sad. I'm such a glutton for emotional pain!

I can't remember but I know Major's Mask happens right after OOT. However, he is is in an entirely new dimension.
Windwaker happens maybe some thousand years after OOT if you want to put a time line on it. After all, all of Hyrule is under water.
But to note the first thing you said, everything that happened to him as an adult basically never happened in the time line, since he went back to being a kid and wrote over it with Major's Mask, then followed by Windwaker.
Is the general accepted timeline.
Obviously missing Skyward sword.
And obviously Skyward sword pre-dates all of them, as the link it is the first.
Nice find, OP. I love this kind of stuff. Probably why I enjoyed Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem so much. Breaking the third wall from game experience to reality. Makes you keep checking over your shoulder while you're playing your game. :P
God, some people have put a lot of thinking into that. I never played the Wii one so I don't really know the story behind that.
In reality where Zelda sends Link back in time, Link disappears from the world, which is the basis of the WW storyline when Link disappears from the world.

They've also said many times that the timeline confuses them as well.

The entire story of four swords is so washed down that it's been said many times that the game was more of a homage to the villain of Minish cap and ALTTP than an actually viable credible source in the timeline.

i was 12 when the game came out, and you admit yourself that you could see it scaring someone under 15.
zelda talk always makes me want to go back and play them all :\
Ganondorf is such a bad ***. I was always hoping he'd be better represented in the smash bros games.
I would have always liked a good bit of information on his back story too.
I mean in OoT he wasn't necessarily evil, just helping out the other Guado.

Same. I'd like stan to explain the issues of the storyline. Other than 4swords being before Minish I don't see any other issues.
