You've Been Examined!

I hated chatmon to begin with. A couple friends in my social ls (Who were 360 players) seemed to find it amusing to spam emotes or /t's <.< lol

But I got used to it, I never turn it off now. It's incredibly useful for letting you know you got a /t when you're browsing the net or whatnot. No more missing pt invites because I was too busy playing CoD either :D

So, how do you disable/change the sounds every time someone examines you? I've tried everything and I dunno if I'm doing it wrong or if it's broken.

//unload chatmon

In your plugins folder for windower you'll see a file called chatmon.xml

Open it up and you'll find a group of stuff that looks like this:

Just remove the examine that is in the examine sound and it'll stop doing that.

You can unload chatmon like was said before but it'll just keep doing it after you log back in. if you want to completely disable chatmon then you'll need to take it out of your init.txt file in the scripts folder.

Thank you Sekundes! I could've sworn I did that before but nothing happened, but now it's no longer bugging me.

Might be worth noting that you'd have to reload chatmon after making the change which would explain why your results weren't immediate.
