Funn/Stupid/Annoying Macros

was in a pty earlier with a thf with a bad pull macro..it got me thinking about all of the bad macros I've seen...some of them are

voke macro consisted of "Yo momma so fat, her way is all the way"

another voke macro: HEY <t> YOU SMELL LIKE ***!

other annoying macros..

THF with <call1> in their pulling macro..
Melee that have a macro for WS and like to proclaim every WS in pty
Mages that have a macro for every spell (let GOD shine on you Cure!. May the blessing of the lord grace you Cure2! etc etc)

Anyone else have/seen/heard any annoying macros? lol

There was a SS of a Monk doing a Boost Macro, it was like 50 lines long and so funny. Something like:

CHARGING MY POWAH LEVEL

[//---------] 40% STRENGTH

[////-------] 40% STRENGTH

[///////----] 60% STRENGTH

[/////////--] 80% STRENGTH

[///////////] 100% STRENGTH

I have a pull macro on thf that says "<t> {invite to join party}" and a ding chime, the quiet one. I think it's call 14? That's just because I've pulled to people not paying attention before and bad things happen.

My only other /p macros on DD jobs is a tp call. I don't use them unless I am actively trying to make a skillchain, though. And my only /p macro on blm is a stun macro, it says "{stun} {just used it} whoever next" for stun rotations.

The worst culprit for irritating macros in my experience is corsair. I get into a party with a corsair, and for the next however long I hear about every single roll they do, its lucky and unlucky number, what the roll does, and every time they use snake eye or an elemental shot. /wrist lol


OH! I lied, I do have another annoying macro, it's for Shadowbind. Drives me nuts when I bind Seiryu or Suzy and it gets insta-broken by some nutjob DD who wasn't paying attention, so I made the most obnoxiously evil call macro I could as a Shadowbind call, and I keep hitting it until everyone is off the mob. Then and only then do I use my actual shadowbind. Someday it will come to everyone's understanding that the longer they dally getting off, the more of them will die. xD

Haha, I was annoying when I first started playing Paladin. I've been told by certain people that the would blist me for the duration of the party so they didn't have to see my macros lol. Everything was DBZ related. Flash was Taiyoken! (Solar Flare), Provoke was something, I forget. I had Super Saiyan lines for Invincible. Powering up things for defender and rampart. something for Shield Bash. I don't remember most of them now, but...lol

Some of the best have come from my buddy when he was leveling BLM. I was trying to instill the idea that it was dangerous to use -ga spells until he knew his surroundings. His reply?

I remember when i started playing, i was leveling MNK without a subjob and i just learned to use a macro, and it was for boost. It was to say when boost was ready, and when i used boost, followed by some <call#> i don't remember. I think i pissed someone off around level 18 enough for them to put their foot down and tell me it wasn't needed.

I don't have any /p's in my macros now EXCEPT for SAM Sekkanoki and BLU Chain Affinity, its amazing how many people will still WS knowing I'm trying to solo (In small partys, i understand its hard not to in dyna/etc).

I have /p's in my macros for my rolls, light shot and on blm for sleeps/bind

SERIOUSLY!! It's like telling a kid not to touch, they want to even more now...

I remember this one WHM from long ago, was a female avatar and their flash macro was "Hey look <t>, BOOBIES!" lol got a chuckle every time...

***, I seriously hate <call> macros, I mean, why would you even do that? if your pulling it means people are there I believe.
I mean for XP parties before the flamers start with their ***.

The most embarrassing thing for me though has been to switch to a low lvl job that I haven't played in years, swap to the specific macro set (without checking of course, because I definitely did it right the first time I made them) and then find out that my '04 /p lines are still all over the place. From provoke with /wait 15 commands and "/p provoke ready in 15!" to utsu ichi saying something dumb about shadows...

As part of an inside joke, I now have a "/em hugs <lastst>," in my Plenilune Embrace macro.

we have a member in our linkshell that always needs attention apparently, and he's like doing fake /linkshell mt's about his macros and on dynamis he does fake /party mt's with pulling <Calls> it's *** annoying.

I don't mind his mt's on linkshell, obviously he needs attention, but seriously, in dynamis party to go like <call> and then go like mt ^^ haha when obviously the macros is for cor and he's on his Sam...

Nothing more annoying than macros like this in party or say, except the BST's or PUP's that converse with their pets via macro.

I must admit that I probubally have an annoying macro but people seem to laugh at it.

I don't use it all the time but when new into a party or we're all joking around I use it.

This BLU on my server has this healing breeze macro "Let the healing breeze caress your wounds"
So my LSes inside macro joke is "Let the (Insert spell/JA/whatever) caress your wounds"

His BLU spell macros are terrible :|
