Reminiscing. I remember back in 05, I needed help with the Tower fight for AF Head, but no one in my LS was strong enough. I talked to a random guy about it, and soon enough he was taking me up the tower with a six-man party. I can't remember his name, but after a hard fought battle I was happy to finally complete the set. Fast forward to 08, I had been doing Dynamis, and (after two dc's as it dropped in the pool!) got the Abyss head from Xarcabard. I was happy again, and I felt a need to return to the tower, chill, and take a screenshot. I started using ffxiah.com in 2010, and my profile picture has been the one in the top right ever since. Eight years later, I finally updated the pic. I sit in the tower as we speak, remembering all the times anyone thanked me for playing the job well. Remembering all the times I gave advice to new DRKs, and the times when better DRKs told me off for doing it wrong. Yes, this is another DRK screenshot, but it's also a story, one I will continue for the love of the job. I get emotional sometimes, (and I'm a writer), so I guess DRK suits me in that way . Now I just need to miss an Insurgency entirely and everything will be right with the world. The End.Reminiscing. foremost, i can't thank Ben (Fthis, Benjix, Lolbenjix) enough for being with me throughout this long battle and journey. at times, i felt discouraged and wanted to give up, but you held my hands and gave me the endless support i needed to see it through till the end. forever grateful and thankful for your sole being. this dream would have never came true without you. Also, many thanks to Rizwan (my homie B), for your support, good times, and laughs along the way. forever my bro. thank you Max (still naming my first born after you), for your all around support and friendship. thanks Allen (Legend), who offered countless time to give me Exodus bank's alexandrites. This past summer Mijiza and I got to meet some of our oldest LS members/friends (8 years) IRL while traveling the states. Court (far left), Mistymay (next to Court), and Basic (far right). It was pretty great coming back to the states and seeing friends. It's been a great summer of meeting FFXI friends! And we are one short of a fully party... At the risk of taking just another mythic pic I thought I’d stop to SS real quick here, and for good reason. Simply put I farmed ALL my alexandrite, I didn’t buy from bazaars, so I wasn’t leaving five mules afk in a FC cruor pt for blinkers, or fish boting, or hackling nyzul for 10mil pieces, not that I have anything against you who do, but simply so this doesn’t look like just another mythic pic. I duo boxed salvage everyday and trio boxed salvage (about 3 times of the week when Vhyihza worked, and always manually,.. This is a long-time personal goal of mine, but I have finally completed FFXI according to X360. And yeah, yeah. I know. Abyssea. 99 cap vs 75 content. Bleep bloop, bleep bloop. But I've been working on XI for 8 years so proud of this. Got to experience this game with a lot of people and had fun doing so. With it's amazing majestic Waterfalls, it's lush Green landscape and crystal clear waters, it has become one of my favorite CoP (Chains of Promathia) areas. I've travelled here many times over the years. Writher it be doing missions, on the way to Tavnazia Safehold, or exploring the area looking for adventure, I always felt a calming sense of peace whenever I'm here. Whenever you have time, take a clear look at the majestic waterfall. It will free your mind and heart of all stress and hardship. Thank you Misareaux Coast, for the many peaceful memories and beautiful rainbow falls that represents hope and tranqulity. I've travelled to Rabao many times over the years and I still feel that sense of adventure whenever I return to this place and hear the amazing music. Looking for a cool place in the middle of the hot desert? Rabao is your best bet and it's by no means a mirage haha! Make sure to come to Rabao during the many festivals FFXI has to offer and watch the beautiful fireworks over the desert night sky, it's indeed lovely.
