Got to meet my first/oldest friend on FFXI in Seoul! Stubbs and Zekky hanging out. I've known this guy since my first week of playing back in '05 and it was awesome hanging out with him. foremost, i can't thank Ben (Fthis, Benjix, Lolbenjix) enough for being with me throughout this long battle and journey. at times, i felt discouraged and wanted to give up, but you held my hands and gave me the endless support i needed to see it through till the end. forever grateful and thankful for your sole being. this dream would have never came true without you. The result of an impulse to try to obtain Herkuleskeule. Personally, I found add-burning this guy to be easier than Podarge since there's no reason to dial down the DPS at any time during the fight. With NPC's and a Fast Cast set, keeping Reprisal up is easy enough and prevents the annoying Defense Down and Encumbrance from the auto-attacks and Riptide Eupnea, respectively. To be completely honest, this stunt is enabled by the adds around the area. Were they not flies or crabs, this would be much harder if not impossible. Reminiscing. I remember back in 05, I needed help with the Tower fight for AF Head, but no one in my LS was strong enough. I talked to a random guy about it, and soon enough he was taking me up the tower with a six-man party. I can't remember his name, but after a hard fought battle I was happy to finally complete the set. Fast forward to 08, I had been doing Dynamis, and (after two dc's as it dropped in the pool!) got the Abyss head from Xarcabard. I was happy again, and I felt a need to return to the tower, chill, and take a screenshot. I started using ffxiah.com in 2010, and my profile picture has been the one in the top right ever since. Eight years later, I finally updated the pic. I sit in the tower as we speak, remembering all the times anyone thanked me for playing the job well. Remembering all the times I gave advice to new DRKs, and the times when better DRKs told me off for doing it wrong. Yes, this is another DRK screenshot, but it's also a story, one I will continue for the love of the job. I get emotional sometimes, (and I'm a writer), so I guess DRK suits me in that way . Now I just need to miss an Insurgency entirely and everything will be right with the world. The End.Reminiscing.
