Did the 2nd tier chamber last night (the one you can enter after clearing the first wave of bosses from each of the first four chambers). Four bosses in this first wave. 9 years, 5 retirements and 3 attempts to build, I've finally accomplished my ultimate goal in ffxi! There are many thanks to be said throughout the years, and while the importance of this has lost it's luster for it's now a dime-a-dozen achievement, I consider this more of a sentimental trophy dedicated for the many who have come and gone on this long journey of mine. Let us first summarize and give thanks to Dienamis linkshell, my first Dynamis LS who got the Attestation of Vigor and Necropsyche for me back in 2005. I would also like to thank Grand Design for helping me obtain the Tenebrous Fragment in 2009. Ultimately, there are too many people to name but this relic was built and is not solely mine for it's entirety also belongs to one of if not my best in-game / become RL brother, Seshu. Since the Dynamis Updates in 2010, we have gone inside farming currency for me and though we retired in Feb 2012, we came back 9 months later and put in 2 months more of work to finish HIS and MY relic. Again, my heart and gratitude go out to all who have been there for me during this journey and though I may not specify each one, you know who you all are! Much love and yes, I troll'd and muled back my 75 gear just for the screenshot! Had it all at 75 cap, just didn't have the weapon! #Missionaccomplished9 years, 5 retirements and 3 attempts to build, I've finally accomplished my ultimate goal in ffxi! Long gone are the days of Scorpion Harness +1 and Gae Bolg. I decided not to post a screenshot when I first finished but I felt that I had to now. I wanted to make sure I thanked Jaywurm and Ashleydarling for all their help. Thank you both. Thank you to everyone else who helped me make this possible. It feels like this took forever and i'm glad I hung in there. Been playing since 2003 and this is my first REM.. now to go play.Long gone are the days of Scorpion Harness +1 and Gae Bolg. This was a proof of concept run to see if this could be further scaled to kill WoC in 3 SCs. This was our first win (second attempt, first one did benediction at 15%) with 18 people, taking us a total of 5 SC. RUN needs to have Gambit + Rayke up for every single SC (more important Rayke) to allow for all BLMs to hit 99,999s every single MB. This held mostly true (I only got 4 or 5 sub 99,999s across 3 characters) and it was during lightsday. This was a proof of concept run to see if this could be further scaled to kill WoC in 3 SCs. I wanted to post a picture commemorating the completion of Raystorm's first mythic as well as my Sequence and Almace (I promise it's on my right side... -.-). Shout out to all the folks in Inquisition for helping me make this dream a reality! I couldn't have completed my first Aeonic weapon without you. Specifically, I would like to thank Lex, Xiu, BZ, Spart and Relak for helping me finish the final leg of clears after I missed the LS event. Looking forward to completing many more Aeonics with all of you!I wanted to post a picture commemorating the completion of Raystorm's first mythic as well as my Sequence and Almace (I promise it's on my right side... -.-). I often hear “I can’t find a group to do X.” Well personally with my limited playtime as a father of 2, it’s been hard finding groups. So through the use of my Twitch Stream, a group slowly formed and after months of learning, leveling appropriate jobs, learning the fights through bg-wiki notes and accepting we may fail, we cleared our first Ou! It was an awesome achievement and I am looking forward to doing more content with our group!
