It's possible to use Trust magic in most events, except where explicitly stated.
(Note: Most event zones do not possess charmable monsters.)

■ Killer Instinct/Traits have no effect on Nightmare monsters.
■ Dynamis revolves around a proc system to stagger foes and increase the amount of currency they drop.
■ Pet Ready moves count as Job Ability procs - I'd recommend non-damaging or low-damage
AoE/conal moves if possible, such as Noisome Powder, Roar, Scream, Bubble Shower, etc.
Dancer subjob gives you access to Steps which you can spam every 5 seconds to score JA procs.
■ Sprinkle Feral Howl and Violent Flourish in there for even more chances at staggering.
Remember that a monster cannot be both stunned and terrorized, so wait for Flourish's stun effect
to wear off before Howling.
Threestar Lynn's Treasure Hunter trait (or Chaac Belt if you have one) will help you to walk away with
a greater amount of ancient currency.
■ The accuracy requirements for Dynamis are practically non-existent for anyone using an iLvl weapon.
Focus on multi-attack and Attack stats in your gear sets.

■ You cannot summon Trusts during Assault Missions, Salvage, or Einherjar.

■ Old content which shouldn't pose much of a problem. Again, low accuracy requirements.

Assault: There's a Solo Assault Guide here - it's from 2013 but should give insight on what to expect.

Salvage: If Battleclad Chariot's Discoid is a run-ender, try taking advantage of HeraldHenry's Bubble
Curtain (MDT-50%), or utilize SurgingStorm/SubmergedIyo for their innate MDT-25%.

Einherjar (Level 75 version): You can clear tier 1 and 2 reliably by gathering all the monsters
and spamming AoE Ready moves. With practice and better gear, tier 3 is also possible.

Meeble Burrows: Monster Correlation and Killer Instinct/Effects are beneficial for most of the
Expeditions (lots of Aquans, Amorphs, Lizards, Vermin) so plan accordingly. You can boost your
Killer traits by applying Intimidation Palimpsests to the Grimoires inside. It's possible to solo
the entirety of the Sauromogue Expedition list, plus Umagrhk. Also, you should be able to
obtain Goal 3 on the majority of objectives, save a few tricky ones.

Legion: You can enter Legion solo as of Feb 2015. It's possible to hit the flying Wyrm with
Claw Cyclone. Beware of Death Prophet from the Mantis NMs and the Death spell from the Corse NMs.

Blackbeard Randy's Razor Fang/Claw Cyclone, Amiable Roche's Recoil Dive,
Warlike Patrick's Brain Crush/Tail Blow/Fireball, & Bouncing Bertha's Tegmina Buffet
will wreck shop in any of these events, especially in combination with Unleash.

■ Stat bonuses from Atma apply to both the master and the pet.
These stat boosts are affected by Pet Attack and Defense adjustments.
■ Most Empyrean Armor upgrade items can be soloed. But keep in mind that this endeavor is largely
hampered by the lack of Abyssea procs available to BST. If you can't find assistance, then you can
still try to farm what you need by using certain subjob procs:

Sacred Kindred's Crest Battlefields
■ 20 Sacred Kindred's Crests can be converted to a Macrocosmic Orb via Shami.
■ Adjustable content level, so choose gear sets accordingly (Content Level 109-121).
Rhyming Shizuna's Sheep Song is useful crowd control,
or tank as-is with Threestar Lynn/Swooping Zhivago.

Chapter 5 (Feet): Dismemberment Brigade II
Crush the BLM (Keeneyed Aufwuf) and try to not be on the receiving end of Eagle Eye Shot.

Chapter 4 (Legs): Legion XI Comitatensis II
Similar to Dismemberment Brigade, end the BLM's life and turtle up when the RNG is ~50% health.

Chapter 3 (Hands): Demolition Squad II
Moatfiller is immune to sleep. Secure enmity on your pet to ensure his Charm attempt will fail.

Chapter 2 (Body): Kindred Spirits II
Probably the most dangerous battlefield in this list. Astral Flow will ruin your day if you're not prepared.

Chapter 1 (Head): Amphibian Assault II
Ideally, put them all to sleep and pick them off one by one. Save the WHM for last (Rauu the Whaleswooner).

Skirmish
Cirdas Caverns & Rala Waterways (Content Level: 105)
■ Breaking into iLvl content at this point, so judge your hitrate accordingly.
■ Run around the map slaying monsters and Notorious Monsters. Wide Scan's
usage is limited because the zone map is divided into many small chunks.
■ Populated largely by Amorphs, Aquans, Vermin, Lizards, and Birds (Bats, really).

Yorcia Weald (Content Level: 113)
■ You'll need high iLvl Axes or moderate accuracy gear in order to eat STR/Attack food.
■ Protect the Cantonment (tent) from incoming hordes of monsters. Wide
scan is useful for locating Noetic Ascensions and Bestial Dens.
■ Populated largely by Plantoids, Beasts, and Vermin.

Outer Ra'Kaznar (Content Level: 119)
■ Moderate accuracy required - depending on buffs you might need accuracy food.
■ Roam the zone and slay monsters and Notorious Monsters. Wide
scan is useful for locating Noetic Ascensions and NMs.
■ Populated largely by Amorphs, Undead, and Umbrils.

Alluvion Skirmish
Cirdas Caverns & Rala Waterways (Content Level: 119)
■ Complete objectives by defeating Stormy Autochthons, checking Noetic Ascensions,
and defeating Notorious Monsters.
■ Wide Scan can help you to locate lesser NMs, Windrenders, and the Living Cairn teleporters.
■ Populated largely by Amorphs, Aquans, Vermin, Lizards, and Birds (Bats, really).
■ Use BlackbeardRandy, or any other high attack pet with AoE moves to overwhelm lesser mobs and NMs.

Yorcia Weald (Content Level: 119)
■ Slay Escalents (twitherym, fluturinis, elementals) to earn motes of Puissance.
■ Puissance is spent by a designated "book" person to buy Valiant ally monsters which battle the enemy forces.
■ Wide scan is useful for locating the enemy Stronghold. You need to finish the Stronghold off at 1% HP to win each round.
■ Malicious enemies will aggro your pet from large distances, so try to use alternate pathways that
don't involve directly passing the enemy Stronghold. You can also avoid aggro by using the 'Stay'
command after each floor is completed and then using the 'Heel' command on the next floor when
you're ready to engage.
■ Use either WarlikePatrick (Elementals: Fireball, Twitherym/Fire elementals: Tail Blow),
HeadbreakerKen (Elementals: Cursed Sphere, Dark Elementals: Venom, Twitherym: Somersault) or
PonderingPeter for Sword/Shield Eudaemons (Twitherym: Whirl Claws, non-Earth Elementals: Dust Cloud).

High-Tier Battlefields
■ Adjustable content level, so choose gear sets accordingly (Content Level 113-125).
■ Keep in mind that certain fights like Mithra Ark Angel ★ will require extra accuracy because of Evasion bonuses.
■ If you're soloing/duoing, and filling a tanking role, opt for Attentive Ibuki/Swooping Zhivago for their innate
50% resistance to Slashing damage. If someone else is tanking, then use a pet with high accuracy/powerful debuffs.
■ Check out this excellent guide on High-Tier Avatar battles by Larrymc for info on pets/strategies.

Incursion
■ High accuracy gear sets and/or food required.
■ Content Level is increased gradually from 123 to a maximum of 143 by trading in all 6 Boss KIs to Grrk-Frut the Charlatan.
■ Enemies aggro from 30' away so be vigilant of surrounding foes. Enmity generation from JAs/spells is zone-wide.
■ Monsters and bosses are susceptible to Sheep Song (requires Pet:Magic Accuracy gear/food/buffs after content level 130).

Vagary
■ High accuracy gear sets and food required.
■ Content Level varies from 128-132 based on the Key Item possessed by the Party Leader.
■ Enmity generation from JAs/spells is zone-wide.
Deathborne Gate: Fomor Zone (Reforged Empyrean Head +1); ScissorlegXerin/BouncingBertha
Duskbrood Gate: Elemental Zone (Reforged Empyrean Hands +1); Ice/Dark Elementals: WarlikePatrick,
Fire/Wind Elementals: HeadbreakerKen, Putraxia: BlackbeardRandy/ScissorlegXerin/BouncingBertha
Brash Gate: Amorph Lottery Zone (Reforged Empyrean Feet +1); ScissorlegXerin/BouncingBertha
Perfidien: (Reforged Empyrean Legs +1); It's possible to pop Perfidien as a solo BST (or a BST duo) in Duskbrood Gate:
4-step Skillchain: SharpwitHermes uses Head Butt → Leaf Dagger → Head Butt → Leaf Dagger
5 Magic Burst kills: Either use WarlikePatrick for Brain Crush → Tail Blow → Fireball Magic Burst
or as a duo, you can perform Sickle Slash → Spiral Spin → Acid Spray (or any other Water Magic Burst)
Elemental Magic Kills: Ice Elementals
or Fire Elementals - Acid Spray, Venom, Corrosive Ooze
Plouton: (Reforged Empyrean Body +1); It's possible to pop Plouton as a BST duo in Duskbrood Gate:
6-step Skillchain: Two pets with access to Scission and Detonation attacks. i.e. ThreestarLynn + CursedAnnabelle
Perform: Attack 1 (Detonation) → Attack 2 (Scission) → Attack 3 (Detonation) → ... → Attack 6 (Scission)
5 Magic Bursts: Either use WarlikePatrick for Brain Crush → Tail Blow → Fireball Magic Burst
or as a duo, you can perform Sickle Slash → Spiral Spin → Acid Spray (or any other Water Magic Burst)
(Note: The magic burst damage must surpass a certain damage threshold, but must not kill the elemental)
Elemental Magic Kills: Fireball, Corrosive Ooze, Cursed Sphere - the element doesn't matter.
(Note: The elemental killshot damage must surpass a certain threshold in order to count)
Below 50% HP, Plouton will perform a SP animation and become vulnerable only to Slashing, Blunt, or Piercing damage -
depending on your group setup you might want to swap pets to one that can deal 2 or more of these damage types
(i.e. FleetReinhard, HurlerPercival, or SharpwitHermes). Be wary of skillchains, as Plouton will absorb certain
elemental damage and inflict Encumbrance on the alliance.

Sinister Reign
■ Tiger or Lizard are good for most NMs you'll encounter.
■ Content Level 130. Akamochi or Shiromochi recommended.

Gaes Fete
Escha-Zi'Tah
Tier 1 (Content Level: 119)
■ Tiger, Boar, and Lizard are good for most Tier 1 NMs in this zone.
Tangata Manu has a piercing weakness that can be exploited with Beetle's Rhino Attack.
■ Be prepared to call a new pet after one of Revetaur's Doom attacks, Chthonian Ray or Apocalyptic Ray.
Gestalt possesses Chainspell and uses Fire Magic - Tulfaire or Crab (w/Bubble Curtain) can handle the damage decently well.

Tier 2 (Content Level: 125)
Nosoi is a Tulfaire with slashing resistance, so consider Beetle's Rhino Attack.
■ Take care of Brittlis's Chainspell and Ionos's Geotic Spin (ensure you have Clear Salve I/II Temp Items).

Tier 3 (Content Level: 135)
■ Tiger, with its high attack modifier, is recommended.
■ Be wary of pet positioning on Shockmaw, it has a front conal Death move called Thar She Blows.
Fleetstalker can be proc'd with Water attacks (Venom, Acid Spray, etc.) after Soulshattering Roar.

HELMs (Content Level: 135)
■ Chapuli recommended for the Coven's Dust battle against Alphuachra, Bucca & Puca.
■ A BST-oriented Wrathare battle involves magical attacks to bypass its Blink Aura. Rolanberry Daifuku, Puppet Roll, Malaise, etc recommended.

Escha-Ru'Aun
Tier 1 (Content Level: 119)
■ Mandragora pet has access to Blunt, Piercing, and Slashing to assist in breaking Tabbiyaa Gambit shields.
Wasserspeier will fly after a certain point, so use Claw Cyclone/Tegmina Buffet to hit in the air.
Sava Savanovic has a doom gaze attack (Eternal Damnation) that you can Heel from if you're quick.
Asida will change between Physical/Magical modes. Perform Fusion->Fireball MBs with Lizard during Spiky Head mode.

Tier 2 (Content Level: 125)
■ Tier 2 NMs have the ability to spawn adds, so Chapuli's Tegmina Buffet is very useful.

Tier 3 (Content Level: 135)
■ Again, Tier 3 NMs have adds, so you can perform crowd control with Chapuli's Tegmina Buffet.
■ Watch for Duke Vepar's Hundred Fists and the potent Bio/Poison auras. Have Healing Salve I/II temp items ready.
Pakecet summons adds after Angry Seas - they chase the NM popper, so be prepared to deal with them.
Vir'ava summons adds after Frond Fatale. Has extreme evasion - Run Wild and use Favorable Correlation to your advantage.

Ark Angel NMs (Content Level: 140)
■ Tiger's high attack is beneficial for these higher tier fights.
Galka AA and Mithra AA have an add to deal with, so be prepared to either sleep, tank, or kill them.
■ If you steal enmity from the tank while fighting Elvaan AA, be careful not to Reward and trigger Benediction.
Hume AA can Mijin Gakure at any HP%, so be prepared with Stoneskin etc to survive the blast.

Heavenly Beast NMs (Content Level: 140)
■ Tiger's high attack is beneficial for these higher tier fights.
■ When fighting Byakko: burn through charges, then Heel to avoid the 10' Disorienting Waul amnesia range.
■ Open Impaction skillchains for Magic Burst strategies on Genbu. Blockhead -> Tail Blow while using high Accuracy food/gear.
■ Take care during Suzaku's Chainspell (can use Meteor), and watch for Seiryu's conal breath attacks.

Reisenjima
Tier 1 (Content Level: 129)
■ Tiger, Boar, and Lizard are good for most Tier 1 NMs in this zone.
Belphegor is a Corse which takes bonus damage from blunt attacks.
Crom Dubh will shield block most attacks from the front. Fusion->Fireball MBs with Lizard.
Villainous Rebuke is a dangerous conal attack to watch out for. Atramentous Libations and Noiahionto are powerful radial 10' AoEs - Heel to dodge.
■ Use a pet with AoE (i.e. Chapuli) to deal with Mauve-wristed Gomberry's Utsusemi clones.
■ Use Heel to evade Kabandha's Deathly Glare.

Tier 2 (Content Level: 135)
■ Lizard can create Impaction skillchains on Bashmu and Ironside for Magic Bursting.
Old Shuck will Level Up after each Roar, defeat him as quickly as possible. Do not position pet behind him or he will Scorching Lash for massive damage.
■ Burn JAs/SPs before fighting Strophadia (Kaleidoscopic Fury puts all abilities on cooldown).

Tier 3 (Content Level: 145)
Maju: Tiger has Favorable Correlation advantage - stay out of Backdraft range (AoE centered on Tank).
Neak: Uses Discordant Note after 90 seconds. Afterward, burn charges in-between Voidsongs. Beware of Meteor during Chainspell.
Yakshi: Chapuli has Favorable Correlation advantage. After Cordon of Apathy, it will Tiiimbeeer regularly (15' AoE). Heel to avoid.

Tier 4 HELMs (Content Level: 150)
■ Tiger is the primary pet for these fights, aside from Chapuli for dealing with Erinys adds.
Teles: Before running in to use Ready, ensure you have Earthen Armor and Scherzo. Run and Heel 30'+ away during Invincible's Dia Aura.
Onychophora: Ensure all BSTs are using Razor Fang and avoid anything With Reverb, Induration, Detonation, Liquefaction properties.
Above 50% HP: Absorbs damage during Aeolian Void, Gorge, Psyche Suction.
Below 50% HP: Will also continue to absorb damage while in Earth mode (denoted by casting a Stone-related spell), but becomes vulnerable again after changing to Fire mode. Heel as needed.
Erinys: Unleash+Tegmina Buffet the Boobrie adds. Carefully monitor TP feed on Erinys (especially at low HP%) - Heel in-between Ready moves.

Omen
■ Content Level: Monsters (127-129), Miniboss (134), Mega Boss (139)
■ Tiger or Chapuli are good for the majority of NMs you'll encounter.
■ Shiromochi recommended - the Caturae Mega Bosses are very evasive.
Glassy Thinker - Pain Sync (20 yalm range) has a long ready time. Heel until the move has completed.
Glassy Craver - View Sync (25 yalm range) damage can be avoided with Utsusemi shadows.
Glassy Gorger - Blessing Sync (10 yalm range) can absorb RhymingShizuna's Rage (DEF-50%) effect.

Dynamis-Divergence
■ Content Level 149.
■ Enemy weaknesses in Wave 1 & 2 are affected by their eye color.
