THF SATA solo sets
Back to the Main Guide
Generally, you will want to save your TA and/or SA for a weaponskill, but if you're focusing on increasing TH it will make more sense to use these abilities solo.
For both, you are guaranteed 100% accuracy and a critical hit assuming you line up properly. Critical hit damage bonus gear does very well, but (see below) haste gear is often better for your DPS. There won't be any high-accuracy sets here because every hit in the SA/TA round is guaranteed. Note that for weaponskills, only the first two hits are guaranteed, so we will need accuracy sets there.
Stack DEX for SA, AGI for TA. STR for both.
Stack attack for both unless you're going to go over the attack cap.
Assuming you're popping these in the middle of melee, you will generally want to keep on haste/dual wield gear, as it is better DPS to keep swinging than to spend forever getting that huge SA / TA single hit. This is *not* the case if a) you're not hitting for any decent amount of damage or b) you're not actually in the middle of melee - either you're only using SA / TA for damage, or you're opening a fight with SA / TA. These sets will assume you're in the middle of melee though.
For DPS purposes, it's better to save SA / TA to stack with a weaponskill, so all of these sets will use TH gear.
