I'm not sure if you are referring to using certain crystals on certain days of the week to improve skillup chances...

At this point Im using 2 different crystals:

Water Crystal for Cursed Soup
and
Fire Crystal for Red Curry

Which goes without saying of having it not cook without the right crystals. Its even at this point Im looking to using HQ Crystals which can be bought at any guild and not just the guild were said craft is used. I forget the names of the HQ Crystals but there around 1000 GP's I think and I have nearly 100k in GP's for the Fishing Guild. Theres 8 days I can synth on but deciding what day the crystal Im using is weakest or strongest is what confuses me.

think that is only going to apply for Synergy iirc, I can't see them changing the 7 main crafts anytime soon. I might be wrong, just like a lot of people were about the level cap increase
