FFXIAH Loading Times....

Hi,
Been using this site for a long time now, however recently - maybe 3-4 weeks ago FFXIAH really started to lag on loading.

Instead of it just popping straight up it loads: Http://asd.fleckz.com/openads/www/delivery.....blahblahphp?

Then after about 5 mins - honestly about 5mins it finally loads a page of FFXIAH but with no adverts. Its almost like the site is trying to find adverts that dont exist for the area of the world im in - so its crashing.

I know this isnt spyware as iv tried it on 5-6 PCs on and off my network, as well as the infamous Mac PC which cant be bugged....

If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Are you in the UK? What browser do you use? The ads are designed to load asynchronously relative to the rest of the page. This may also depend on the browser, but I have tested it on the latest Safari/IE/Firefox/Opera.

Im in Korea at the moment. But it was working here for nearly 5 months before it stopped. Im using IE however Firefox also wont load - was thinking maybe its the korea text but the laptop is UK so cant be that... im confused...

Iv installed the new fire fox, and it loads a little faster but still takes forever, however in fire fox it gives me a message where the adverts should be.....

"The connection has timed out

The Server at ads.fleckz.com is taking to long to respond."

It has a yellow triangle with a black ! picture to the left.

Appears the ads cant load for my location - can this be fixed please? Its really frustrating waiting almost 3 mins per page - when Korea has like the fastest net connection lol!!

I get as much as a 15 sec lag here in the US with IE on those adz loading... it stops the whole page from even starting to dispaly.

Very annoying.

Using IE last 2 versions on Vista and XP Pro.

fleckz.com is located at the same host (different computer though). It could possibly hang when trying to translate the name. If you could, post your trace route to ads.fleckz.com.

In Windows:
Start -> Run -> Type "cmd" -> Type "tracert ads.fleckz.com"

Any ideas?? Its still really really slow and dead annoying....

It sounds like router issues either on your end or one that ffxiah.com has to hit in route to you. However, if you still think there is a chance it could be something software related I would try the steps below. Just for "ships and crackers", would you mind resetting your router? Maybe reconfiguring it from scratch? It really doesn't sound like a problem on your end if it's affecting all computers on your network. I would also "phone a friend" in your area to better test my first statement.

Do me a favor and clear your start-up for at least one cold boot.
Start >>> Run >>> msconfig >>> Startup tab >>> Disable all button >>> Click Ok and restart.

You can undo all of that by telling the computer to return to it's last settings if it doesn't fix it. Or you could use it to clean up your initial boot if you'd like.
