Just take your Craft (row) then your Rank (column) in that craft and that's the item that guild requests for that day. You get so many points depending on the item. You use these points for key items and +skill gear.

I'd like to add that the information shown for the day's Guild Pattern is gathered by players.

The guild point item changes at JP midnight, so if you check at the actual npc in-game soon after, it might be different from what the site says. In that case you can submit a report for the day's item and it'll update.
