And I just got logged out a minute ago. I clicked upload screenshot on my character and it logged me out. I logged back in and clicked it again and it's fine, uploaded the pics and everything.
I cleared my cookies when I turned my PC on this morning, but that was about... Well coming up to nearly 15 hours ago. I've been posting and browsing a lot today, so it's had plenty of time to screw cookies up. For me, it was some of my add ons. I disabled a bunch at once, as I don't use the majority of them anymore (I had a ton), so wasn't able to narrow it down to the exact one, but Scragg had a pretty large suspicion on the AVG browser add on, which was disabled along with a bunch of others, and now it's functioning perfectly.

I used to have that on, but since AVG decided to be a memory monster one day I uninstalled it. The browser plugin went with it, and I still get logged out occasionally. Infact the logout today was the first time this week that I can recall. VMware ThinApp This software successfully allows you to launch ffxi on capable machines from portable media. I use it to play at school from my 16GB flashdrive. Also useful if you like to have other apps handy like Photoshop or Microsoft Office. Have fun with this one :D Lakshmi.Aeyela said: Sylph.Tigerwoods said: For me, it was some of my add ons. Also useful if you like to have other apps handy like Photoshop or Microsoft Office. Have fun with this one :D It turns w/e application you want into a portable .exe that can be used wherever. You do not need VMware on any machines either, everyhting is packed into a nice, neat .dat and .exe that will run on any portable media. Depending on the speeds of the media you use, there may be some slowdown. My 16GB flashdrive is USB 2.0 and while it takes a few seconds to launch the app, once things are loaded it runs pretty smoothly. One thing that's neat is that once the files are packaged, you can copy/paste them onto w/e machine and it plays just like its installed there. The downside to this is that you may need to re-pack the file after updates. Normally that's not a big deal, but FFXI generates a 9+ GB file (maybe more now after the addon scenarios). The large file takes some time to generate is all. Hope this helps! Thanks if you fixed something, and if not, thanks anyway for no doubt trying; and it fixed itself if the latter is the case!
