This would totally ruin the game. it was 44k from 74 to 75. now imagine that 24 more times with always a higher amount of exp to reach per lvl up.
HNMs would be a total joke. lvl 90 mobs? what would that con when checking these on 99?
New gear would be needed. pimp gear would only be "something useful from 75 to 99".
The list of how much fail this is goes on and on, and in my opinion this would kill FFXI

It's exciting but also makes me cringe. Can you imagine the TNL to lvl 99... 100k exp? Maybe not that much but wow. I keep telling people to not jump to conclusions but I can't help to think they'd have to adjust all EG stuff. I'm excited about the thoughts of new armor and new goals though. New abilities and spells otw to 99, please?

They can't be doing 99 cap. As it's been said before you'd have too many overpowered jobs and a lot of the stuff that is considered an accomplishment to beat now would be laughable.
If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to quit.

The game got turned upside down, but I embrace it rather than running around doing the same ***for level 75 over and over and over again. Finally the stuff elitest morons epeen measure over will be laughable at 99.
