i don't have any plans this weekend... and i have to work a useless shift later today. but i did make myself white sangria which is currently brewing in the fridge... tonight i'll just relax on the patio with a glass of that and a book...

I have never had Sangria to my knowledge, but its always looked and sounded yummy when I've seen people make it and now I want some lol.

it's traditionally made with certain red wines, but i prefer the sweeter white variety. basically dump a bottle of wine in a pitcher, cut up some random fruits and add those. I also add some triple sec (orange liquer) and the simple syrup is a must (boiled water/sugar mix)

the varieties are pretty endless... when your glass is empty you can just eat the wine-soaked fruit... eating healthy never tasted so good! haha

Yes, white wine sangrias are the best!

They are a wonderful and dangerously delishous drink. One of the few that I miss. The other is Slow gin and OJ. It was like drinking fruit punch koolaide. Ah those were the days.

Given the choise yes white wine instead of red every time.

It's another slow day at the hotel. Everyone left town for the coast for the weekend so we're left sucking dust and cleaning cob webs.

I always just tell my friends to have a few drinks for me now so that they can enjoy my company when I am not there.

Ok I know these forums span time zones, culturs, and land masses but even if its another day what is the most memerable moment that you have from the 4th of July.

I have 2 that are tied for first place with me.

1: a friend saved me from making the biggest mistake of my life. I had invited a female friend to watch the fireworks with us at my house and when it was time to take everyone home we all piled into my mustang and dropped people off. When we got to her house I walked her to the door and told her how much of a great time I had spent with her and that I was looking forward to spending more time with her also. I was just about to kiss the back of her hand when my friend leaned out from the car and screamed at the top of his lungs "YOU CAN DO IT!" Needless to say the moment was lost and she went inside and closed the door on me. He had more bruises that night then he ever had in his whole life I proceded to beat the crap out of him for ruining the moment. I look back on it all and laugh now because she turned out to be a lesbian and I am gay. We both thank him for that night and he gets so mad because he turned into ultra morman man now.

2: My nephew and I were lighting off tube rockets(the big things that make giant bursts in the sky) on the 4th and the second to last rocket caught the tube on fire. We still had one arial rocket. So we decided after everyone noticed the psycho look in my eye and took cover that we would light it on the ground and see what happens. My nephew wanting to be in on it with the big boys decided that he wanted to help. SO I attached another 2 fuses to the origional so we would have a few more seconds to run and picked up my nephew and let him light the fuse. Took off like a bat out of hell it must have been a quick burn fuse that is used inside of the chambers because before we even made it to the burm the thing exploded. I tossed my nephew up and over it and dove head first myself into the gravel. The thing was huge!!! It must have been 60feet~20 meters across when it exploded. Nobody got hurt I had 1 burn mark on the back of my shirt and we all laughed about it. My nephew was speechless for a good 2 or 3. Then he just erupted with OMG I WANA DO IT AGAIN!!.


Those are my favorite moments from the 4th.

I just saw Toy Story 3 with a friend and my brother, it was really good. :D I almost cried at the end. <_< But anyways, after we left the theater, we decided we wanted to watch The Last Airbender too. XD So 20 minutes later we were sitting down in a second theater. <3 random adventures. XD Avatar was an OK movie imo, it doesn't deserve the awful rating it got. :/ Some of the acting is kinda bad, but I enjoyed the movie as a whole.^^

I have been wanting to see the last airbender. I figured it would have sappy acting just from the story line that it follows.

Just like Avatar. It was good effects and lots of them but in the end it was just another tree hugger get off our dirt and leave us alone retell. I do remember having the little duts things floating around watching in 3D and trying puff them out of my line of vision once or twice.

I think I will go home and watch WALL*E

Okay, so that attempt to take a nap failed looool.. ended up just chit-chatting with my mom & playing with our new puppy! :D! She's too cute, *eats her up!*

I was once wearing a subligar (not JUST for the appearance, Republic Subligar ftw) in a lower level Japanese party and they called me {Subligar} {Slaughterhouse}. X.x

Oh, and I don't celebrate July 4th, but pride parade tomorrow means I will likely have some alcohol in me at some point. :D

I'm kinda known for randomly running around town in a subligar, bikini top, opo opo crown & christmas boots.. lolol, anything to show a little skin.. female characters get all the fun stuff! ><;; h00ker? maybe just a little bit, gotta make that gil! :P:P:P

I randomly found this video today... I swear I don't purposely go looking for subligar-related things! It's actually a pretty funny video about getting stuff in game ("yatto deta" pretty much means "I finally got it"). Poor Elvaan at the end holding the Thunder III scroll with a "MOLDAVITE WON'T DROP" caption.

how can you not like puppy breath everyone wants to pick up little puppies and snuggle with them. If you get that close to a puppy you have to like puppy breath.

Not exactaully a scent that I would pick for an air freshner but i dont think its weird.

I'm back home... Finally 5 grueling hours.

My dad's better now, he had a prostate infection (again ><). Everything seems well, he's resting now. Hopefully it won't return. But thanks for the concern and good wishes.

sun is blazing, not a cloud in the sky, no one is around today so i am all alone again haha. what to do what to do... pool is closed today, and not going to the ocean because it's going to be massively crowded, and i can't deal with that many people.... oh, bother!
