AWESOME!!! I had a couple of friends who went to Vanderbilt! That campus is gorgeous, and their ZBTs are YUMMY!!! What are you majoring in?

Asian Studies and French; minoring in Chinese. I've taken 2 years of Japanese as well but don't have enough time to finish the Japanese minor. :/

Anyone have any good suggestions for Valentines day? So far made reservations at a nice restaraunt and bought a few things for him. I've never really had to be in charge of this before, what do you guys usually do?

I'll be honest, it's kind of a bs major because of how incredibly broad it is. Most people who major in AS take a minor in something like Chinese so they can specialize.

In my case, I've focused mostly on Mandarin Chinese and the culture/history of mainland China and Taiwan. I'm taking Japanese for the fun of it and using the hours toward my major. :D

Depends if ur bf/partner is the super butch type and refuses anything effeminate.

Dinner is honestly enough and a small gift, and perhaps drinks afterwards.

Butch aka "masc" gay men arn't hard to find. U have a lot of gay men in the leather/bear scene which itself revolves around "alpha/masc males demeanor."

U also have a lot of "casual gays" which just are regular acting men. Not all of us dance to Lady Gaga on our cars with pink sparkly wands in high heals!

I personally have no prob with "fem guys" so long as its not OVER-THE-TOP.

Its anything from personal preference to psychological. Just how some people prefer to date/associate with fit people.

Its a not a big deal to me. I personally won't date a fem guy, I'll be friends with one, but i tend to stick to masc or at least semi-mask as far as dating...
