Speaking of pastry chefs, Im totally making about 10 pies from scratch for people for Thanksgiving. Gonna be a task but will be fun!

Worst thing i ever did was take a guys filet mignon throw it on the kitchen floor, step on it, put it back on the plate, put some worchester sauce and WALAH his 5th steak that had been refired! lol

20% never less, usually more. 50% if they are hot. :)
O.o so direct the hot waiter to you then split 50/50, got it.

I agree please do I can say as a pastry chef there are good days and bad like any other. Mostly pisses me off when something is in the window and stupid servers are texting on the phone then the customer wonders why their food took so long. I remember once at a resturant I worked at I got so pissed I went and delivered the food to the table. The customer goes wow the chefs are waiters here? I go no your waiter just needs to be fired for ignoring you.

Depends on your restaurant. I never ran a freakin plate when i worked at Cheesecake Factory and Ruth's Chris. I just tipped my food runners and busboys extra to run all my food cause i was that psychotic waiter who had 14 tables. lol

Neither am I. I quit when i graduated college. It was the best day of my life when i gave my 2weeks as a waiter. But it was good experience, and i definitely have so much more respect for the hospitality/food industry.

Unless they are just bluntly being rude, I am so nice to may waiters/waitresses. Most of the time they have to deal with such moody people and I dont think I would be able to handle it.
