I thought it was pretty easy with BLM and Clipper ._.

It is, but isn't lol, I've met 4 FFXI friends now, well, technically 3, cause I knew Reimer before we ever got into FFXI [we hung with the same group of friends, but weren't friends ourselves lol I just knew him by default] But I met Nao and Dera earlier this year and now Lev [all Asurans lol] So far its been fun, other than Firsk starting a fight with me basically <.<

Not looking forward to that either, I've been putting off staff trials forever.

You're gonna love doing the next two trials after that.

Luckily they can do Farfadets in La Theine.

When I did mine, no one knew about it, so, I was stuck in Saruta (S) soloing Elementals on BLM. :(

o god, went to Cedar Point today and I am sooooooooo wiped. rode Millennium Force in the front car, that was pretty sweet...

I don't know if you are feeling better (hope you are!)
But here are my recommendations (Im a Pharmacist :P)

Cough: most of the time this is self limiting and doctors won't give you much different than whats available OTC...
Dry: Delsym/Cough Drops, Delsym (Dextrometorphan) which is in a few products as a combination suppresses the feeling of needing to cough.
Wet (Mucus Coming up): Mucinex or Robitussin (same product, different strengths/formulations) If it is clear you need to ride it out, most likely viral. If it is colorful/foul smelling more likely bacteria. Some doctors won't give you anything... could wait a week and if during the time it gets worse see a doctor. but only with the colored (green or yellow).

Stuffy Nose: Normal Saline (like ocean or generic) is good to use, can use a nasal spray like Afrin but only for 3 days max. Oral Sudafed is good after those 3 days. The ibuprofen may have/can help this.

Headache: Tylenol or Ibuprofen or Naproxen (Aleve)

If these don't help then I need more info to help, hope you feel better.

Yeah, I did La Theine, but it's still a pain unless you can get a bunch of people together to do it.

Yeah, I was on Scholar trying to nuke them and stuff. I had the same problems. Can't sleep them either, and I think they resist wind magic. So no gravity or silence.

I'm feeling a lot better, thank you. I pretty much used afrin for a day (that helped a lot), and lots of advil congestion relief. And thanks for all the handy info, I'll make sure to save this for another time :D

Yep, killed those pretty quick, retrace etc, and all that other jazz, rinse repeat. The only thing that really bugged me about the trial was the other people that were there doing it.

Basically: if it's freshly popped, gravity > silence > bliz V > bind if you need to > bliz IV > reapply silence if you need to > aspir 1/2 > bliz V again. If it's not dead after that, sleep it and rest up!

Sleepga at the start if you're unsure if it has blink up or not, it can be a little annoying to have your gravity wasted :<
