I went to see an artist about that tattoo.
I want the words on my wrist just like that.
He said it was impossible to do.
He said there wasn't enough space, though I've seen other people with writing across their wrist.
Do you think he's bullshitting me because my parents looked awkward about it. (Happened to me before.)
Or you think he's serious and it really is too small?
:]
Suggest other places I could put it?

And yes, I can't get a tattoo without parental consent.

Might be too small. I dont know anything about tattoos but It might be because of all of the veins or arteries or w/e they are on the wrist, and they might interfere.
First, any decent artist could free hand lettering rather than copy-print.
Second, if your artist is not willing to do the work to resize that .. then you don't want him/her inking it on you.
Third, be comfortable with whoever is inking you, doesn't have to be a deep connection but don't be scared to ask questions make last minute expectations or changes... after all it's a service you are PAYING them for; but please be kind to them.
That being said the person you went to is either a lazy tool or has no real worth as a inking artist, find someone better.
I completely agree with Dovlei. The writing isn't intricate or complicated at all. The artist porbably doesn't have the "skill" to do something so simple so small, which is not inconceivable, just irrational. Find a better artist.

ive gotten a few tattoos myself and i couldnt agree more with what he said. quality of the "craftsmanship" if you will, can vary so vastly. talk to some artists about it, check out their work and etc, maybe talk to other ppl about where theyve gotten what you consider good work done. just definitely dont rush anything.. you waited 18 or whatever years this long anyway, whats another couple more weeks of doing your homework on it right ? and in general, id say maybe rethink the whole wrist thing too... theres a lot of work i want to have done below my sleeves too, but.. im gonna wait till way later in life, or at least when i know my life is established and theres no worries about anything. its cliche to say, but its true as ***. body art can def cost you opportunities in life.
I'm only 16 and I have two.
I'm checking around like you guys said. :3
Hopefully I'll find a good artist~!
Thank you for your comments.
I've worked in a tattoo parlor before, there is no medical reason why you couldn't get the tattoo you wanted. (interesting choice btw)
The guy probly wasn't skilled enough to pull it off and didn't want to cop to it. That or he wasn't comfortable tattooing a 16 year old, though I doubt that's the case because most guys I worked with wouldn't be shy about expressing their opinion on said tattoo.

Man that sucks that the guy shot that back saying it's impossible. if I lived near you I'd ink it for you for free just to prove it could be done XD lol. If you had the pic as a printout for the guy it'd take like 5 mins to make a template for it, and if he had access to photoshop or any other imaging software he could resize it easily if he didn't feel like altering it by hand.
As for stuff on your wrist it's not really dangerous to tattoo along there, the needles don't go deep enough to cause any damage to arteries/veins and the like. If you're ever worried about it, you could have it run along your forearm on either side of the artery running horizontal above or below (whichever you felt would suit you more), but honestly I don't see a problem with it going across your wrist. I've inked people there before and there's been no problems whatsoever, though since it's on the inner side of the arm it is a little more painful so please bear this in mind^^, it might react a little more than tattoos on the outer side of the arm / hardier parts of the skin so it might need a little more after-care, nothing major just a bit of baby lotion to keep the skin from drying :) or hemp cream!! this stuff works wonderful for tattoos on any part of the body (and it smells kinda good too.... lol)
I feel badly for that tattoo artist, if he can't be bothered to spend 10mins tinkering with a template, just imagine the effort he puts into his ink... I wouldn't trust the guy at all >_< I do hope you manage to find a good tattooist nearby. The best way to find them is often word of mouth, get as many opinions on a guy before you let them near your skin! :O
Sorry for rambling haha, Take it easy and I hope this works out for you~

I seriously doubt there is a problem with the wrist. A friend of mine has full arm sleeves from wrist to shoulder. It has take multiple sessions to not only get it all filled it but to refill it in a few times to get it as dark and completely filled in looking. There has never been a problem.
Kinda funny though cause a couple of times people have gotten on him for wearing a black T-shirt when Uniform is white not even realizing it was a tattoo

Haha, don't worry, I'm appreciating all the feedback.
And yeah, that's what I was so bothered about.
I don't plan on going to him. 3:
I live in Florida, by the way.
Know any good artists there?
I'm sorry I don't ;~;, I'm pretty new to the states myself >_< (2years... go team! lol) so I'm still trying to find a good artist to help me out with my next project... tattooing one's own back is very diffi... well bloody impossible lol.
Some of the parlors have websites, those will be clickable links along with their phone number etc ;) but with the websites you can get a good preview of the parlors, their work etc etc. Don't be scared to drop by the shop either before you get your ink done to have a closer check at the rooms they use and the equipment if you're kinda finnicky on that, it's better safe than sorry ^^;

Yeah, I did that before.
._.
Looked nice.
Didn't quite help because the tattooist forgot part of my tattoo and I didn't see until later.
The reason the artist probably told you that it wouldnt be able to fit there was, tattoos bleed (ink not blood). The letters tend to not get as crisp on the lines and anything that small would probably just bleed into one big black smudge and you wouldnt be able to read it at all. Sounds like the artist knows what he/she is doing. Ive got 5 tats just so ya know.
If Genie Weskit fits then i think "Never Knows Best" would fit too, as long as it was written long way up your arm like in the picture. So i either thing the guy didnt want to do it w/ your parents or he personaly didnt like the idea and didnt want to do it.

you are right it is, but if you were the artist that did it you would know why, the weskit in the game is the one thats backwards, it doesnt fit the muscle contour properly so the guy who designed it in game doesnt do body art for a living and i chose to have it done with the contour of my arm v. look exactly like the one in the game. :)
My tattoo is small, probably smaller than that. It's not on my wrist, but it's sure as all hecks not impossible to do one that small. The artist should definitely be able to re-size it if necessary, and if not, then I would find a different artist. Actually, I would find a different artist anyways, it sounds like this one is a bit sketchy. He's unwilling to put the work necessary into making your tattoo, and he's not being honest about it.

The only time the ink will "bleed" or blur like that is if the artist went too deep into the dermis. That being said anytime you are getting a tattoo on a joint, or an area where the skin folds in on itself you are going to need to take extra care of it, and more than likely you'll need a slight touch up, a good artist will know this and most likely ask you to come back in a few weeks for a free touch up. (an artists work is his reputation and nobody wants unfinished work out there.)
Have you ever considered maybe getting a temporary version to see how you like it? You can find temporary or henna ink kits that last upwards of 2 weeks and you could even do it yourself ^.^ I used to do this to make some quick coin and it was really popular with high school kids because of how real it looks.
