Out of curiosity – has the nation of Bastok always been in last place during conquest tally on your servers?

Generally speaking.

On my last server, Siren, Bastok had a tendency to be in last a majority of the time. I'm not sure how it is now, however. On my current server, Shiva, all nations generally share the same amount of time in first. Bastok isn't in last nearly as much as it was on Siren.

Bastok's always last on Remora. Had a hard time getting fame because of it, lol. Usually it's Windy > Sandy > Bastok, but right now it's Sandy > Windy > Bastok.

On Hades Bastok is usually last. Though somehow they're second this week. Oh, and they suck *** at getting OPs. I've been Bastok allegiance for a couple of months now and they still haven't gotten Tavnazian Safehold.

They're currently in 1st on bahamut right now.... but yea, they're usually last. In fact a lot of the time they don't even control gustaburg because of smn burns in korroloka.

For whatever reason Bastok is often, but not always, last on Phoenix. Its last this conquest tally (It was first a couple of weeks ago though, which was an oddity).

It's last a lot on Shiva, but it does randomly take first place for no reason at all, then another 3 months of being last again ; ;

We did get Sarutabaruta the other week though which was nice.

When I first started playing ~3 years ago, Bastok was always in first and windurst was always in last. It was always bustling, too, people actually had Bastok as their home nation. Basty is hardly ever in first anymore, though, and when I am there for dynamis or to slap Cid or whatnot, usually there are only like 7 or 8 people in Bastok Markets.

Interesting, Bastok just happens to be in first place as of this conquest tally. Must be something strange in the waters >.>

The servers with the fore mentioned posts as Bastok placing in first place. Does the nation of Bastok often have an increased player population base? I know that most servers will have a majority of their player base in Whitegate; however on Valefor for example, San d'Oria and Windurst often have busier streets.

Again thanks for humoring this inquiry.

phoenix straight sucks at all things conquest.. never have I seen beastmen have a majority of the areas the majority of the time. Bastok was first with like 3 or 4 OP's and windy/sandy had like 2 each that week. Valefor's bastokan population wasnt quite as lame as phoenix's though.

First on Seraph this week.
A lot of San d'Oria's #1 status overall I'd attribute to it being the RMT nation of choice here, though... ,_,

To me it seems more like San d'Oria is first most of the time, Windurst and Bastok flip around and sometimes get first. Again though, San d'Oria was definitely on top most when it was crawling with Rank 1 RMT running around everywhere...
(I haven't seen any lately.)

Aena, are the Bastok zones also more populated with players? Not as much as Whitegate of course.

My server seems like it is heavily influenced by San d'Oria and Windurst, so most of the player population, when not at Whitegate reside at these locations. It is most interesting to hear that other servers have a reversed situation, it would be a sight to see!

Again, thank you for the non-flame responses as this is just a simple inquiry.

At this second, 58 in Bastok... 56 in San d'Oria, 36 in Windurst...
224 San d'Orians, 176 Bastokers, 131 Windurstians... 697 people in all areas...

So 166 /anon players, and RMT lately often seem to run in /anon packs on foot in random locations when they're not trying to level their San d'Orian Rank 1 60+ THFs through level syncing Qufim.

Mostly I watch conquest results because of ingredient-hunting.

Bastok is usually second on Pandemonium. Windurst rags conquest here...and it's not abnormal to see Bastok/Sandy need an alliegance pact to boot windy to third place. For the most part, it's usually Windy>sandy>bastok, here.

I should've mentioned that no one sits in Bastok Markets that much since they moved the OP NPC to mines. On Ramuh Bastok sucks and rocks on CB, but most people in Bastok are either Dyna or AB parties.
