If you don't W legs movement speed is good. MACC/MAB would be good if you use the magical spells more. Obviously making it like homam would be good.

Errant Slops are even with if not better than MACC/MAB pants with no real change in MACC, tends to be closer to 1:1 as MAB:stat goes for BLU nukes. ACC/Haste or Movement/PDT is the way to go.

lol dont start the movemnt speed thing agen

and hq slops are the same as macc / mab in a dif of 1% dam.

for blu +25 mp and - 4 enm and Skillchain damage +5% is the way to go.

That what i think but im not a blue mage

That rule of thumb BLMs use does not apply to BLU. HQs would be equal or better MACC, but they would be consistently better damage. Low base damage reduces the MAB:INT damage ratio to closer to 1:1.

Eh... MP/enmity no, SCDMG has potential. I get more use out of ACC/Haste due to no Homam Cosciales, but Crit damage +3%/Skillchain damage +5% would be best in slot for SACA VCleave or Cannonball, especially if you're closing skillchains. So there's a third option I didn't note.

Unfortunately SE pretty much shafted BLU on these augments. Since none of them benefit BLU.

If I had to make these solely for BLU I would Double Attack+2% and Haste+3 to TP in if I didn't already have Homam.

As for getting Skillchain Damage+5% on these that would mean you would need to equip these while casting a spell to self chain. Which is absolutely ridiculous since the base stats on them are pretty horrendous for spellcasting, yay 2 DEX.

You would see a bigger increase in damage using Mirage/Enkidus pants closing a self chain(since the spell damage would be higher, not the skillchain damage) then using these with a silly 5% increase to the skillchain damage(I.E. Distortion's Damage+5%).

You best be capping accuracy without the leg slot if you do Haste/DA :x I stand by my analysis. As for SCDMG on its own (without SA forcing crits)... I doubt it's better if you're closing level 2 skillchains, but if you're closing Light or Darkness it should be viable if the skillchain damage isn't overkilling (less valuable in merits and such) and you're not seeing too many resists.

Technically it doesn't really work for blms either. Well the dmg part. Now the macc would be the same on the spells where int/mnd were what affected macc assuming you have at least 10 more than the mob. However alot of blu spells don't seem to have a stat that affects there macc. Doesn't that depend on the spell anyways?

Yeah, varies by gear and spell, I know :x People are lazy and it's close enough for most things. Breaths don't seem to have such a stat, at least not that I've noticed... all the mod-based ones do though, based on dINT/dMND/dCHR check as appropriate.

I'd save the pants for a better job that can use them. but
if I was going to use them for Blu it would depend if i had
CC's or Homam L. If u have Homam go for 8 movement and haste or PDT
for kite pants. If you have CC's then make a pair of Homams.

This unless you're ZOMG HARDCORE BLU ONRY, then maybe the Crit/SC augment. Or if your other jobs just can't make use of it at all, but that's not too likely.

I remember reading that the info is up somewhere but VZX hasn't updated his page for whatever reason, but now I can't find it >.<
