Question About 60+

I'm level 98+2 alchemy, and I'd like to have the goldsmithing ring, for various reasons, and I looked and saw you needed craftsman rank to obtain it.

I'm wondering if I can turn in the rank-up item so I can obtain the craftsman rank, then just get guild points until I can get the ring. This wouldn't de-lvl my alchemy right? I wouldnt actually be skilling it up at all post 60. Not a single craft, I just want the ring.

I just want to make sure I wouldn't *** myself up^^

Or just not do the craftsman guild items. But thanks for the answer^^

You'd be able to do the rank up and get the ring, the danger with this is that when you do the rank up, you have a chance at de-levelling alchemy should you accidentally skill yourself in goldsmithing on a synth. ^^
If you can live with that, go grab yourself teh ring ^0^

Not planning on doing a goldsmithing synth that would take me over 60 to be on the safe side haha^^
