I just ran around looking for NPC today for the new Wedding Service, I found Rembard(NPC) inside Chateau d'Oraguille(Northern San d'Oria). He's standing right next to the Great Hall door next to a Treasure Chest and Coffer chest. Really hard to miss him. For Bastok, the NPC is Cloud Walker and for Windurst the NPC is Pompi-Rompi, I'm unsure of their locations but I hope some of this information helps you.
I'm really thrilled to see that SE is finally making Weddings a bit easier. It took 3 years of constant applications to get my wedding with my in-game Husband and RL-fiance. At the same time It makes me feel kinda shitty to know SE announced this change 2 months later. LOL.
I wish I was a male character. I'd move to Gilgamesh and marry you, Alyria, just for the lols.
XD I know you would.
A couple in my ls were supposed to marry a few weeks ago but someone forgot to send a email back to the GM marriage person and it got canceled. Now they can customize the wedding even though they got disappointed for the mistake on the friends end.
Oh if anyone on Gilgamesh wants a signed food XD, I'll make it for them for the wedding. :P

thanks for the info! so everything is now handled through them as opposed to having to apply for it out of game now? sorry for not trying to figure this out myself in game but i'm in the middle of a 16 hour work shift and very eager to know.
The Windurst NPC is in Heaven's Tower, he stands across the room from Kupipi. And if you don't know who Kupipi is then you live under a rock!!! j/k lol ;), but he's fairly visible.
I have to laugh about the prices of the things though, it's like 80,000 for the ring and 400,000 for the dress set... The NPC is like "Well, if you can't afford to have someone craft it, you can buy it here!" Too bad he doesn't mention it's almost twice the price to buy it from his coffer than it is to buy it from the auction house ;) lol.
I think it'd be nice if they lowered the prices to match what they used to be when it was a [GM] service.
This thread is making me wonder.. I'm honestly surprised there isn't some thread running around the forums for lonesome male tarus looking for a stunning hot taru female. :o This thread is starting to look like a match.com thing so.. XD
Lol did you not see the singles thread the other day?

200,000 for the male set
400,000 for the female set
100,000 per ring
for a total of 800,000 ... plus 6,000 for the HQ crystals to engrave your name if you are so inclined.
Compare that to 180,000 or so that included all of the above back when it was a [GM] service.
and there's still probably some sort of location fee that they just aren't mentioning... plus all the party favors to buy for the guests.... oh well. it'll still be worth it to me.

Why on earth would anyone spend that much money on a frivolous set that you can't even resell once you tire of it? D:
500,000 for a full female set (including the ring, which was free before if I'm not mistaken)vs 50,000. What were they thinking?
The fact of the matter is that 800,000 gil *per couple* is throwing a dickly amount of gil our of the economy. And let's face it...before the odds of getting a wedding day off their lotto syetem was 2-3% by the deadline of that day. Meaning At least 33-50 people applied, three times a day. 50 couples. Three times a day. 150 couples.
Add that to you only being able to have one wedding application out at a time (even though you DID choose three dates) means, hypothetically, it's at the very least 150x10. 1500 couples per month applied. MINIMUM.
Now, let's do 1500x800,000. It's a lot. A LOT of gil thrown out of the economy. As well as SE no longer has to pay a GM to do a service (since it was only one person doing them on every server if I recall...I asked when I had mine.)
SE figured out a way to make the players happy with a self-satisfacting event, and at the same time deal with an inflation issue in a starting manner. It's smart, cost effective, and ties people over for a while.
...almost too smart for SE.
Edit:Fixed my numbers since they were off. I forgot that each application counts per couple, not per person.
