Free Trial Changes? Unlimited 75 Content.

So, apparently they have teased at making the Base game free to play without subscription. But they mentioned up to level 75 content also.

So, this is super cool. Hopefully they make it unrestricted to all QoL things, and allow full interaction between paid and free players, like can still join parties, be in linkshells, use the AH like normal. If they allowed free play up to the last of the 75 era, preabyssea, that is going to make private servers obsolete.
But it's going to expose many more people to playing the game. This is big news, even if it's just up to RoTZ, for now.

New Free Trial?

I just saw this tweet in Japanese talking about a new FFXI Free Trial, but I can’t find any information anywhere. On the Reddit Discord they’re talking about an unlimited trial capped at level 75 with access to the game’s basic zones, but nobody confirms it or gives more details. Do you know anything about it?

Idk that they mentioned relaxing any of the restrictions other than level cap and duration, but I could be wrong.

You could infinite money glitch. Maybe. Unlimited no effort kclub farmers. I believe they can do bc on trial.

As long as a real account is in the zone to lot the club. (also get 10 million oxblood lul)

They aren't going to let us use them as free mules, are they?

Can't trade, dbox, AH, hold more than 100k, or invite anyone to party, so no.

you would need a separate email for every one of them, and separate SE account, and all that. might be worth it to create just 1, no satchel, but who knows.

i want one for when I'm unsubbed, just to be able to visit. but also something to scratch the itch with a little also for free. I think it could lead to a good revival for the game, bring some vets in to dabble who maybe only play on private servers or quit @ 75. I think it will bring in new players in the form of FF fans wanting to scratch it off their list. So this is pretty interesting news.
