My problem with the current login campaign structure is it's either feast or famine. Some months you get delve mats or abyssea drops. Other months it's literally rem tales and that's it.
Radial likes to make believe that my life isn't real because he is so ashamed of how poor his life is and that he has done nothing with it. On the off-chance you are unaware, I entertain his desperate attention begging and subconscious self-pity for amusement.
You got more stories than disney club, you're not even a good liar and I still remember you from your first XI troll account. Keep telling the stories though, maybe one day someone will take pity on for real and you can coom to it all night.
Starting with the October login campaign, the number of login points that can be carried over to the following month will be changed from 1,500 to 700.
This was probably an expected typo as the October rewards didnt have a changed reward structure. But just to confirm, I carried 1500 just now, so they meant November.

Yeah I had same assumption, their intent was probably to give a forewarning but should worded it like "Starting with November Login Campaign period [...]"
700 carry-over per month with ~2100 points per month is probably designed to stop us from getting two 1500 point items, which means we might start seeing 1500 point items that are somewhat relevant.
Are we still getting 500 and then 100 a day though? "[...] update the points system to give you additional incentive to log in on a regular basis" sounds a lot like "we're bringing back login streaks" to me.
So it could be like... 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100, 150, 150, 150, 150, 500, 200, 200, 200, 200, 200, 200, 200, 250, 1000.
Pretty much everything Fujito has done had been giving major "daily logins are the only metric that matter to my bosses" vibes, so I'd expect to see a system that makes missing a day really suck.

Yes, this, right here
Alright. Does anyone have auto-login automation? Execute on a given character, and it /logouts and /logins through all of the characters in the Character Select screen?
I'm sure at least one of our resident gil-sellers has something a bit more hardcore that could just spend the whole day creating, logging in, logging out, and deleting alt characters on otherwise unused POL accounts. I don't think anyone had "RMT saves FFXI" on their bingo cards, but...
We've gotten 2 drops of the box on Easy with TH8. It's *definitely* a higher drop rate.
I got a box on the 3rd kill on E but it took me about 70 more kills to get my final box for my 3rd account. I'm not sure they did increase the drop rate. Which is fine, the change is welcome in any case.
They still have not added the way to get that black subligar, it's been over a year since they added it.
Ashen Subligar. We will never forget, teased us with our new undies and didn't add it in! I'm hoping they remember to put it in the Halloween event this year but they've said they're adding a couple more of the new Ilm pieces there so we'll have to see...

- Does it reasses the count every week like before but reset at the end of the month (or update)?
- What is everyone point of view?
So far, on Phoenix, 2 weeks ago all NM got kill and had about a 50% drop, last week barely any NM got kill and it’s totally trash, like sub 10 if not 5. After the monthly update, no difference to that trash drop, can say later after the Sunday “reset”.
The damage they deal seems disproportionate, to the point of being annoying. There were also bugs with Parry, Shield Block and ignoring Invincible and Sentinel but I think they addressed that in the october patch (right?).
Normally I would say they are irrationally annoying but people already found way to cheese most of them through Eva builds so I guess gg with that. Still think SE should've done something to properly fix the thing rather than having people rely on a single method, but I digress.
Other than that, the fact that there's absolutely no incentive to be the one who kills or take part in a kill is beyond stupid.
I'm confident this part will eventually get addressed in the future.
Then you get 4 solid weeks of capped chest, which is still dogshit drop rate, but at least you don't have to recap it every week. So it's an overall positive change, but not a great one.
....... on the other hand, if you ever fail to cap the chest, then youre stuck uncapped for 4 entire weeks. Hope that never happens.
I'm sure that would never happen even on small servers if they SUCCEED in making those fights more rewarding and/or less annoying.
I mean it doesn't take science to understand.
But I still want to be an optimist and believe that the role of NMs will be broader once other parts of Limbus will be implemented and what we're getting now is just part of the whole picture.
