Previously unobtainable items coming back

Happy to see it.
Moogle mount, moogle mount, moogle mount!
(I want, but is not on this list) What items would you want to see coming back this way? There are so many of them.
Moogle masque was originally given away 2012 http://www.playonline.com/ff11/event/vanafest2012/ Pictoral event item was originally 2017 1 of 11 http://www.playonline.com/pcd/topics/ff11us/detail/15886/detail.html RadialArcana said: » What items would you want to see coming back this way? Similarly, the Moogle/Nomad cap will warp the entire party to a random Mog House entrance in their home nation. (Honestly, the latter should be a spell called Home/Homega, but whatevs). Edit: Chocobo Beret. (Last obtainable May 2012)
Hard vouch for Moogle Mount return as well Way back when the test server existed they had some sort of community hide and seek event where the winners got some weapon (or helm?) that turned their party into chocobo egg costumes that hatches into baby chocobo costumes to run around town in with boosted movement speed. Anyone know what that item is? That'd be super fun to have in modern times and would erase my regret of almost getting one but not knowing my way around Ifrit's Cauldron all these years later! We haven't had the Jubilee Shirt (doubles the effect of Mog Garden Monster Rearing feeding) since Jingle Baaas in 2016. Give us that back please!

I still remember finding camate in the castle. That hat is one of my favorites Does this Moogle head look like the "green" Moogle head?
I wish those pictorals could be sent to mules, iirc they are exclusive
If you're talking about the Duelist's Board and the other equivalent wall furnishings, you can just trade or bazaar it since it's non-ex.
It's kind of like Sky god scraps where you can't send it to your mule via dbox, but you can just trade it No, this Moogle Masque has the "yellow" pom pom. I have mine from the 2012 VanaFest.
If you are interested, the items you need to trade the Curator Moogle for the Masque is: Mandragora masque +1 lycopodium mallet piece of pom-pom fruit jar of black ink square of wool cloth I'm curious if you lose the mask/mallet as part of the trade.
Ragnarok.Nissa said: » piece of pom-pom fruit You can get the ball for login points right now, and seemingly grow it into a pom fruit in you mog garden.
you could buy bonanza balls for 10 login points each during april fools stuff
Ragnarok.Nissa said: » Mandragora masque +1 lycopodium mallet piece of pom-pom fruit jar of black ink square of wool cloth They are honestly asking way too much, very few people are going to do all that. It should have been just this piece of pom-pom fruit jar of black ink square of wool cloth The holiday events are kind of fun to do but they demand huge amounts of points (making them not fun), repeating it over and over for hours to get the items. This is for cosmetics, doing stuff in the game to get them is fine but this is too much. Even the picture frame requires you to do the summer event 5 times. They will demand people do far too much work for these, then see barely anyone does it and so not add anymore. Carbuncle.Nynja said: » How are you supposed to get this before July 15??? Unless you sacrificed your bonanza ball? Or kept old ones? Bonanza Balls are in login points for 10 points (I think) EDIT: this is not meant for newcomers or casual people, this is meant for hardcore collectors that barely play the game anymore. I have at least three friends who are VERY happy about this and will be very eager to spend the time needed to get these items, purely out of completionism. I also have at least a dozen that will go "eh that would be nice but it's too much effort", which is fine, the Curator Moogle is not for them anyway. EDIT 2: going from UNOBTAINABLE to OBTAINABLE IF YOU INVEST SOME HOURS IN IT is a ∞% increase in the availability of these items, and it makes sense that they're not just given to you onlogin permanently. Valefor.Philemon said: » I'm curious if you lose the mask/mallet as part of the trade. Confirmed all 5 items are lost in the trade. Probably being done that way to make people who got the items originally not feel like they got screwed over because now they're available to everyone.
Not saying that's a logical stance to have, but that might be their thought process here. I'd like a lot of these for collection purposes, but the requirements are so extreme it seems designed to waste as much of your time as possible.
Makes me want to rip up my decorated mog house out of spite and reclaim a gazillion storage space. Yeah I think a fair compromise would have been making you complete the event (obtain the event items) but not lose them when trading them in.
To save the curious having to check, duelist board is a summer uchiwa, a gold ingot, a rosewood lumber, and a Tavnazian taco.
So... basically unobtainable right now unless you already went balls deep into Celestial Nights last year, but I guess that's why the moogle's sticking around until July 15th. Also, just a fun little heads-up, curator moogle doesn't seem to like either FastCS or Enternity, I ate softlocks on two characters trying to talk to it before disabling those and interacting successfully. EDIT: Tried with just FastCS on and it worked fine, then enabled Enternity again and had no trouble, so it might be a first time you talk to it after zoning in or in general sort of problem, or it could be something that happens because of long uptimes and the POL memory leak issue? I'm still a little salty that I missed the Save the Queen II.

I'd honestly be happy at missing out on this one - with how strong Majesty is, it's basically inventory +1 to have missed out on it... but idk, saw a dude on my server with the damn gun and I'm still very confused. fractalvoid said: » Bismarck.Rosalee said: » I'm still a little salty that I missed the Save the Queen II. Save the Queen II is not the bonanza weapon (that's III), the II is from the anniversary event back in 2017/18, you had to kill an overworld NM in Jugner for the drop. Same model as the III, but lv1 costume weapon -> Save The Queen II |
